I`m not having any issues per say, but I am wondering if anyone else has noticed the same thing:

I have a Hynix nvme disk, and when in Mojave the disk (at least I assume that's what's making the sound) makes noise when read/write occurs. Anyone who has experienced the same (or know how to fix it)?

help me please.

SMBIOS truncation is obvious from looking at your ioreg.
You need config.plist/KernelAndKextPatches/DellSMBIOSPatch=true.

Do we really have to use a MacbookPro14,1 SMBIOS? It sucks we need this for proper HDMI output, I managed to get it working on High Sierra with a MacbookPro14,3 SMBIOS...

MacBookPro14,3 is dual GPU with Apple proprietary GMUX. Which your laptop IS NOT.

I'm having trouble getting sleep to work, and also every 2 reboots or so I get a freeze on the startup. I've also lost the ability to boot to Windows from Clover, it just gives me a grey screen. Attached are debug files.

What is your specifics regarding the sleep problem?
And why have you already started loading questionable software onto your computer before you have it fully functional?
(I'm referring to com.kairos.driver.DuetDisplay, com.Cycling74.driver.Soundflower)

Note: You forgot SATA-100-series-unsupported.kext.

You also forgot to disable hibernation (read CPU PM guide linked from the FAQ).

Those kexts are probably hold-overs from a previous machine. Easy to get rid of.

I thought I had disabled hibernation; my mistake. Did so now. Added the SATA-100-series kext. @acdop100 you might want to add that kext to the downloads on the first post? I didn't see it there. Thanks for your work on that by the way.

Thankyou for the documentation, working through it and have stopped with disk utility, as it doesn't see my M2 Hynix 256 GB disk that dell shipped, it has Windows on it now and want to wioe it out with disk utility. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get the disk viewable.?

Hmm, I used to have that kext installed but when I removed it I didn’t see any bad effects so I removed it to get rid of fluff. If it is causing issues I will add it today (hopefully). Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

I appreciate the thanks. As this is my first guide I’m trying to make it the best it can be for everyone and not just forget about it as soon as I write it :) . I’m glad that my guide is being used so much. 2nd most viewed laptop guide for Mojave! Super cool.
