Hey Erik!
Would you mind sharing your SSDT file for USB to me? Im using the same motherboard as you and i'm encountering several issues that is preventing me from finishing patching .dsl files...

Thanks!

The SSDT file is in the first post and it does work great.

My Mojave Hackintosh based on this hardware is running really stable apart from when I enable VT-d which is a pity as it will benefit running vm's. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice. I'm running the latest BIOS firmware so wondering about downgrading it..

I've tried dart=0 and older BIOS'. Neither work. Vt-d errors are totally random too. I'll have to leave it disabled for the moment.

Thanks Erik for this great write-up.

I have the same motherboard, and I'm trying to use your SSDT (I had issues where USB drives would be unmounted when the computer went to sleep, causing lots of unsafe eject errors). I dropped the ssdt.aml in EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched. Now, my USB 3.0 hard drive isn't recognized, no matter which USB port I plug it into. My USB 2.0 Kingston thumb drive works fine.

I've looked at the guide to creating SSDT but I find it really hard to understand and haven't had time to dig further. Erik or anyone else using his SSDT...did I do this right, and do USB 3.0 devices work for you?

I'm in a similar boat currently. Have you got yours sorted out? I've got my Mojave running on the same motherboard, but still trying to figure out how to make all USB ports usable.

I know the files are in the first post, but I just cant figure out how to use the custom SSDT onto my current system. Someone also mentioned the files aren't in proper folder structure. So I'm still lost at the moment.

So I realized the zip attached to OP in this thread has the kexts for USBInjectAll and XHCI-200-series-injector in the wrong folder (not in clover/kexts/other). I also moved the SSDT files to clover/ACPI/patched (not sure if this was crucial or not). Now I have almost all my USB ports working.

@ragnarokx
Can you help take a screenshot of where everything should go?
if I'm not wrong, all the kexts should go to the "other" folder right? But I'm just not sure which files are the SSDT files and where it should exactly go to.

Is there a proper way to install/place these SSDT files properly or will copy and pasting work just fine?

Sorry for the late reply.

Just upgraded from High Sierra to Mojave yesterday. If you haven't had your questions answered already, yes all ktexts go in the "other" folder. I'll attach a screenshot where the SSDT files go (Clover>ACPI>patched). They just need to be copied to the folder, no special process.

Anyone can help me with fresh EFI for AsRock Z370 Extreme4 for HIGH SIERRA 10.13.6 ?
i cant config my system properly

Tnaks a lot

Hi,
I have the same motherboard with a i7-8700 non-K, activated plugin-type=1 in Clover Configurator for power management.
When hitting the cpu with full load (prime95 or Cinebench r20), it turbos up to 4.3 GHz but after 20-26 seconds, it clocks down to ~3.6 while temperatures never exceed 61°C. So no thermal-throttling here.
Am I missing something or is this normal?
Thanks for the help, used Erik's build as a guide :)
