There should be one option for HDMI compatibility and one option for DisplayPort compatibility, depending on the connection in use.

Ok, maybe I too rush about this, but I'm very tired trying everything I can think of to solve my problem(its has been a week), so for now I'm back to High Sierra using my GTX1080 Ti and everything fixed, my display wake up successfully from sleep/power saving.
Maybe it's all because my dual display setup, (well actually I don't know if using single monitor can solve the problem or not, since I'm not yet test it), so while I'm waiting for my new monitor which is a Samsung 32" 4K (planning to use only 1 monitor) for now high Sierra and 1080Ti solved my problem.
Will try again next week.

Thankyou @kgp for your input

Thus you have not been able to properly configure your monitors as suggested? This has nothing to do with your system configuration neither it has to do with a dual display setup. It is simply a monitor sync error due to some HDMI or DP incompatibly.

Therefore you have to enable the HDMI or DP compatibility option in your monitor settings! I am convinced that this works. But if you do not follow my advices, I am also not able to help.

And it does not work with just one monitor either? I would start with a single monitor only. If that works, I would try adding the second one.

well that is my fault :silent:, I haven't test that, maybe last night I'm too stressed, until 2 AM so maybe my sanity goes away :)

So I believe we are out of beta now right? How can I update to the final 10.14 without having to wipe my drive and install fresh? I downloaded the beta access utility and it says I am running the latest version which is 18A347e, but thats still beta. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Yes the official release is out. If you’re running a beta you should be able to opt out if you go to System Preferences -> Software Update. Then click details -> Restore defaults. Then you can download and install the official release from the App Store.

I believe you are running HS right now and have the system running based on @kgp guide and the EFI folder up to date!?
I just did the upgrade from the same condition by going to the App Store, downloading the Mojave upgrade tool and having it running. The machine installed the upgrade (with the obligatory 2 restarts) and I almost was done.
I only had to fix the Mojave specific clover (config.plist) settings according to the first post of this thread and I was done.

If you are enrolled in Beta testing on that machine, please follow @djlild7hina advice and revert back to update defaults.
otherwise you might end up with the 14.1 beta2 (as of today).

All the Best
Frank

Ok, so I am guessing I just need to swap the EFI folder with the one that is working now and I should be good to go right?

Well, you will have to complete the distributed 10.4.0 EFI-Folder as you did in case of the 10.13.6 EFI-Folder. That's it.
