Update Directly to macOS Mojave

Replaced my old kexts in EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other with latest versions I found on the internet, then started the update process from the AppStore. It was a smooth update on my i5-8600K, RX570 build.

Did you have to do step 2?

2. Open Clover configuration folder on the root of your system drive or EFI Partition using EFI Mounter v3. Copy FakeSMC.kext and any other extra necessary kexts to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/. If you need essential kexts, download them here.

Nope, I haven't. All my kexts are already in other folder, so I didn't think that its necessary (I might be wrong tho).

Upgrade via Appstore executed successfully. The system drive has been converted to APFS during process (without warning). I feel a little slow down when the Finder displays folder content (on system disk and external one). It look like disks access time has increased, is it due to APFS file system?
I like the dark mode very much, it is a cure for the eyes... as long as all the applications and all the internet pages use it, otherwise, it is very bad for our eyes. For exemple, if men choose the dark mode and setup Ducduckgo to display dark colors, each time the page is refreshed, a white flash appears. Let's hope this 'll be solved soon.

Thanks to this simple guide I was able to update my hackintosh to Mojave without problems, obviously after updating you have to reinstall some kext (I had to reinstall only those of WiFi and audio) and you have to do a KextToPatch to fix the USB 3.0

Updated after the second attempt.
I made a disk image with clonezilla (just to be on the safe side).
I then inserted the necessary kext files into the EFI folder, and updated clover to the latest and then ran the update...no luck...it just failed after a restart.
I went back to my backup, and tried again.
Copied the kext files and installed clover through High Sierra multibeast. And then I ran the update...worked flawlessly after a few restarts.

A perfect installation in the two that I have in the SSD and HDD. A hack at 90% compatibility, the only thing that no longer supports effective is with the VIA VIA VT80XX USB and the GenericUSBXHCI.kext kext that just did not work correctly with Hihg Sierra. I notice it super soft and fast much more than High Sierra.

When rebooted, there is no Boot to Install option, does someone have the same issue?

Hello, from what I understand, Mojave cannot work anymore with HFS+ ? Installation must convert to AFPS? I don't have a SSD, I'm scared about a slow-down in performance.

Updated directly from the app store. I had already updated clover before so I just updated some kexts and everything was very smooth. Much more stable than High Sierra was for me so far. The native RX580 support has been great!
