Hi.

I have installed 10.14 Mojave. My Radeon HD 5770 is working in low res mode and slow, did not up properly. I have Hackintosh since Yosemite and had never troubles with my 5770, it worked just fine without any action with it.

I tried to boot Mac OS without additional graphics kext. Then I've tried with latest Lilu 1.2.7 and WhateverGreen 1.2.3, tried to set inject to NO for all of Intel, Nvidia, etc. in Clover config. Set inject kexts to Yes.

Where can be a problem? Why it does not work on 10.14?

As said in a post above the 5770 does not support Metal, which is why it does not work on Mojave.

If you insist on continuing to use the 5770, please consider going back to Sierra or High Sierra.

Thank you very much! You saved a lot of my time trying to fix it. Will buy just new one!

Have you decided which graphics card you are going to get? I'm in the same boat. My additional constraint is that I use the ACD so need a card preferably with mini Display Port. Bit disappointed that this card is no longer supported. That said, my XFX Radeon HD5770 has given flawless service across all the past upgrades since 2010. I would ideally like any new card that I get, to have similar upgradability.

For now, I will switch back from Mojave to High Sierra, so that I can get the full resolution.

Am running GA-X58A-UD3R Rev 2 with FF BIOS version.

I don't say this enough, but thank you again to all in this community for enabling us to enjoy MacOS on custom hardware.

I will just buy one of these that Apple recommends. I will buy RX580. Do not want to think about drivers at all like it was with my old HD 5770.
