Worked fine doing a fresh install. Upgrade from High Sierra on second SSD is stuck at the loading bar after reboot (dunno how to fix). USB3 working. Audio could be fixed with latest applealc / lilu and different audio layout inject

I'm experiencing the same loading bar issue. Any update on this?

EDIT: I updated to the latest version of Clover and made sure to select "Install for Mac OS" instead of the two other install options appearing. Also I had no audio after the install had finished. I just restarted my system once more and audio came right back. Just waiting on Nvidia drivers to be released. Other than that all seems to be working correctly.

I just finished upgrading from High Sierra, and now my system keeps rebooting before I can finish entering my password at the login screen. Anyone else experiencing this? Same behavior in safe mode.

**EDIT** I turned off my second monitor and was able to login and finish the update. All is fine now. Otherwise smooth update

Updated from 10.12.6 to Mojave, have no real issues except Nvidia driver and some new Clover boot options:
  • Boot macOS Install Prebooter from preboot - did not work
  • Boot FileVault Prebooter from Preboot - Needed for encrypted volumes, will need to test FileVault at some point

Misc
  • Upgraded to Clover 4674, copied Kexts before starting
  • Had to re-pair Bluetooth, minor annoyance
  • Audio works, but VooDooHDA sys prefs panel broken/missing
  • USB 3 still an issue, but USB 3.1 via ASUS Thunderbolt card sort of works

I forgot to update apfs file, and I got kernel panel black screen after loading apples logo progress bar

Any idea how I can log into the Mac to download and update the file ?

I tried clover-backup but it didn’t work

Did you find a way to have the NVIDIA drivers going, if so, mind to share how?
I'm sorry bro, haven't updated my profile in a while (gonna do it right now) I'm not using GTX 1060 anymore but as far as I know, drivers are most likely to be released on September 27 - 28.

By the way,

You can remove the apfs file and just use ApfsDriverLoader-64.efi now to load the real one from the drive. You just need to load an OS that can read read the drive to place the file in the right location. Booting form a CCC to SuperDuper disk backup would be a good option. Otherwise you need to create some form of bootable version of the OS.

Good luck ☘️

How can I control the files without any access to the drive or the UI, is there anyway from clover option to disable that file or any kexst so I can access ?

The upgrade was a bit of a hassle.

First attempt, I rebooted to a stuck loading bar that filled up to a tiny amount.

I then upgraded Clover, FakeSMC, Lilu and Whatevergreen to latest versions available. That fixed the loading bar issue. Then installation went smooth and fine thereafter.

Upon initial boot to desktop, I find my Wi-Fi and sound not working!

Fixed sound by updating to latest AppleALC (forgot to do so in conjunction with upgrading Lilu earlier, hence why audio didn't work).

But my Wi-Fi is still broken and I cannot get it to work (no hardware detected). I was using a $20 Fenvi PCI-e Wi-Fi card purchased off Amazon that mentioned it was compatible with Hackintosh (it has an Atheros chipset). I guess Apple somehow disabled Wi-Fi functionality of these? That means I have to get something like an expensive BCM94360CD/BCM94331CD and PCI-e adapter? Damn!
