Sadly I didn't tested a Benchmark. I could do it once i've found time for that :D
But what I can tell you for sure, the pc is worth the money. For me it is a beast. And macos is working great.

Hi FaserF,
I have a Dell Precision T5500 but i can't reach the installer ....
I'm try with 3 different Os (el capitan,Sierra,High Sierra) following your guide (Boot Flags,Clover Version Etc Etc) but no way to reach the installer .
the PC sometimes have Kernel Panic end sometimes restart
Can you tell me how you configure the bios ?
My T5500 is with this specs :

Mobo Dell dual processor xeon E5506
GPU Nvidia quadro NVS 295
RAM 12 GB DDR 3 1333 mhz

Let me know
Thank you in advance

Hi All,
Anyone have experience with the Quadro NVS 295 (256 MB) ?
Is it working with sierra or high sierra or i must change the GPU ?
About the Network adapter on the mobo (Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx) anyone can tell me wich is the correct kext ?
Thanks

P.S. at the moment on my Dell Precision T5500 i have installe Two Intel Xeon E5506, 2133 MHz , what you guys suggest for a better performance ?

IMHO If you can't find mac drivers for the GPU It'll be a lot less hassle to switch it out to something supported...

and yes, the network card is a pain. see my earlier posts. I gave up on that and got a usb to ethernet from aliexpress :)

My BIOS Settings are in the original post.
Looks like your graphics card could be the problem.

The interesting thing is that I never had any issues with Network on my T5500 with the kext I used in my main post.

Hi Everyone!
I installed OSX 10.12.1 Sierra to a Dell T5500, following the instructions. There is an original Apple GEFORCE GT120 in the PC. How can I configure it in the Clover? I've tried a lot of things, but I can only boot it so far if I use nv_disable=1, but in this case it only sees 8MB memory (I attach a screenshot).
Thank you for your help in advance!

Please help!!
Need EFI file for my Dell Precision T5500
Bios A06
Xeon E5506
AMD RX 480 8Gb ddr 5

What steps did you take to make the Legacy Clover installer? I have a sapphire RX580, think I need to change the boot args nv_disable=1 kext-dev-mode=1 dart=0 (PCIRootUID=4)?

When I use the Mojave Clover tool, I get to post and once the bar competes loading, the screen just stays black.

So I've got OS X Mojave installed on my T5500. After messing around with High Sierra (I thought it would be most compatible) for a day or so, I went ahead and installed Mojave. Unlike High Sierra, the Unibeast installer worked the first time without any problems. But I had to experiment some to get things working properly.

My RX 580 worked which was a welcome surprise. But when I tried to switch from the default iMac system identifier to MacPro5,1 I got mad flickering. When I switched back to the iMac13,2 SMBIOS graphics were fine, but performance was abysmal (~1200 single core Geekbench 4 score.) I finally figured out that I needed to install NullCPUPowerManagement to keep the CPU from throttling hard. Now I'm in the process of testing sleep, which has always been a problem for me and Hackintoshes.

Ethernet with BCM5722D kext seems to work fine, as long as the Ethernet cable is plugged in at boot time. If you plug it in after boot, you get a self-assigned IP address which is a pain. Until you restart, anyway.

Right now my Geekbench 4 scores are around 2300 single core and 13000 multi-core. Does that sound about right for single X5670?

EDIT: Sleep works, but it takes about 90-120 seconds to wake from sleep. According to the diagnostic lights it's getting hung up on storage system configuration. I see the same issue at boot. Any hints?

Did you ever happen to figure out the best settings? I am actually about to try and I wanted to see if there is anything you did that might make my life a little easier so I don't beat my head against the wall like last time I tried a Hackintosh in 2012

I have an Nvidia graphics card GTX 960 with 10.13.6. It works fine. I attached my EFI below. I tried to use appleHDA instead of voodooHDA. Unfortunately, It didn't work. I can see the sound device as well as the sound control bar. No sound comes out. I don't know the reason.
