all USB port works, even the USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 at 900MB/S read speed measured with Black Magic on my SanDisk Extreme 900 !!
No graphic hardware support yet, don't care, don't play on Mac, No slow down caused with this issue with my Audio DAW Pro software: Logic Pro X 10.4.1 Cubase 9 or Studio One 4 !!!
No TB3 yet
Would say as George Clooney... What else?... do i need ... Nothing sir... everything perfect... thank you intel, thank you Apple and thank you TonyMacx86 for making that possible... ( for 999$ only the Nuc, plus 970EVO plus RAM of course at your choice)

For some reason I’m not getting updates so sorry for not responding. I have a feeling my SSD may be the culprit. I’ve the new Samsung Pro oem m2 (980) which in Windows is smoking fast. It has no mac drivers according to my googling and others have had issues with. Loving the nuc as a Windows machine. Will buy a new SSD and start again :)

Hi! How happy are you with your Hades Canyon Hackintosh? Are all the I/O ports working? How about the GPU?

Is there a GUIDE to HackIntosh from A-Z for the NUC8i7HVK. I'm very new to this so will I completely break the Windows install or can I partial/multiboot install it?

As long as majority of the things work I am a happy camper.

If I were you I would get a separate drive and USB and disconnect the windows drive until the install. It worked for me with a USB external drive. Follow another NUC guide on this forum it is very similar.

The NUC has an install NVMe SSD. But you are right, I'll install and try from a USB and if that works to my needs, then why change the original Windows install.

So I get a USB (like 32/64GB), install the Hackintosh software and that should do it? I have a Mac to fall back on, just have never attempted the Hackintosh for desktop use.

Do yourself a favor and remove the windows drive for the install. you will need 2 things.
1). a USB stick, and 2). a SSD, HDD or M.2 drive without windows installed.

If you try to install to your existing M.2 you will more than likely have trouble. Unless you erase windows? An external drive or USB to Sata cable adapter will work.

does the intel igpu hd630 working well?

The Hades Canyon does not have an Intel GPU that is connected to any video ports.
(can't remember if it is there for QuickSync or not)

It is listed on intel's site to have one. You mean the cpu has igpu but it is not connected?
if that is the case it is strange

I am confused now, the TPC says:
  1. *The graphics outputs of the NUC8i7HV are not physically connected to the HD Graphics 630.

    but also:
The kit supports graphics computing through Intel® HDTM Graphics 630.
