Hi
I have the same equipment, description link: https://www.solotodo.com/products/23866-asus-zenbook-ux303ub-r4144t-90nb08u1-m02500

Do you have any step by step that you can share?
I buy same wifi card for install.

regards.

Use this as a base guide (link below) ... It depends on what actual build of this laptop you have ... You’re also going to need to patch your own SSDT and DSDT, there’s no escaping that ...

Read everything a few times (Installer USB Key/Patching Guide etc.) before you even get started! This will help a lot when things go wrong. There’s no quick and dirty guide with this laptop.

Plus there’s a misnomer with this build, when you install the first time, it will not boot ... Let it restart and install OSX from your recovery partition ...

Let me know how you get on ... I didn’t require FN keys or a backlit keyboard (Cubase user ... better that OS X doesn’t have control over the FN keys) ...

ACPI configuration is now working ... Wifi now working, Bluetooth working, graphics now working, and what I'd like to say to anybody following this guide so far, I have to patch battery and HDMI out ... What Rehabman and all moderators are teaching us all is to think for ourselves (do you require the answer on a plate????), why take on hacking up a laptop to be a Mac? Because through all the guides you read (read them, read them again, and then read them again), you're already gaining Terminal knowledge, how the actual system works at a lower level and a lot of skills you can carry forward in your day job / studies, and I'm primarily supporting cross Windows/Linux/Unix desktops and Servers in my day job and I've learned so much taking on this project to make this laptop mimic a Macbook ... Huge respect and kudos to the moderators of this community ... The main problem is that so many people are looking for easy methods to reach their goal, following a guide is easy, understanding the methods behind the goal is time well spent and I love a challenge ... I'll fix everything else myself with the knowledge as posted in guides ... Chances are, your hardware isn't going to be up and running in day, and if it is ... where's the challenge!!!!

Hi there, I have the UX303LA variant (broadwell i7 5500u) of your laptop and you can get AppleHDA audio working, however the in built microphone does not work for me when you do AppleHDA. So I have a hybrid solution in which you have VoodooHDA with working jack sense and AppleHDA solely responsible for HDMI audio. Please see the link below

Hello, I have the same device, I am running High Sierra successfully. I want to ask you: which SSDT and DSDT patches have you used? I have battery issues and I'd like to know your setup.

For the patches, especially the battery patch, there is an Asus battery patch in Rehabman’s patch list ... It’s for a different model of Asus laptop, but it does provide awesome battery management ...

As the thread stated, you can only benefit from patching your own DSDT and SSDT ... Otherwise, where’s the challenge?!?! Always broaden one’s knowledge

Also, re-read all the posts I made and you’ll find your answers ...

Re-read this guide and follow it exactly, it will tell you exactly which DSDT and SSDT files you will need:

https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-patching-laptop-dsdt-ssdts.152573/

It's better to have an understanding of how to do this properly, so that in the future when you get new hardware, you'll already know what you're doing :)

I didn't require a backlit keyboard (less battery power used) or touchpad gestures (I have a magic mouse) and as for the battery patch, use the one you already mentioned, that's the one I used and it works fine.
