I'm about to build my second hackintosh which will be used for video editing/color grading
I went for a Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 5 motherboard and I noticed it has an integrated wifi module by intel (Intel 1x1 802.11ac Wireless), no bluetooth is mentioned in the specs though.
So the question is, what should I buy to get bluetooth working on my machine? Handoff compatibility is a plus, but bluetooth keyboard is a must
Second question: the buyer's guide suggests getting a TP-Link Archer T9E 802.11AC AC1900, is that needed or will I be able to use the integrated wifi module on my MOBO? If so, would I see an improvement in performance with the tp-link board?
I'm sorry for all these noob questions, but I've successfully built a single hackintosh following the forum's advice and at the time, I used a fenvi board that provides both bluetooth and wifi connection... that was easy
If you are interested in the whole shopping list, I'm going for this:
Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 5
intel i7-8700k
32 GB Ballistix Sport LT (16 GB x 2), DDR4, 2666 MT/s, PC4-21300
Inno3D GTX1080ti Jet-Fan
SSD 1TB Samsung 970 EVO M.2
Corsair Carbide 400C
Corsair Hydro H100i v2
Corsair RM750X
+ 2 WD hard drives for a RAID setup and a cheap 2,5" sata SSD to run windows for smaller tasks
