Yes, I have updated the bios to the newest version, and change:
Peripherals> Thunderbolt (TM) support> Thunderbolt (TM) enumeration MODE: set NATIVE instead of LEGACY
It seems that Gigabyte has released a bugged BIOS.
 
So can't you go back to the previous BIOS release?

Already tried:
- Clean the CMOS
- Downgrade BIOS to F8 version
- Re-upgrade BIOS to F10 version
- Remove and reinstall the PCI-Thunderbolt card
- Reinstall the driver in Windows 10
- Plug and unplug the THB_C header on Windows and MacOS

Did you try the card on another comp?
 
Gigabyte replied to me and told me this:
Please try make a full reset like below, and see if it helps:

Switch off power supply and wait 30 s

Remove CMOS battery.

Shortcircuit the contacts in the battery holder for about 2s.

Remove shortcircuit.

Reinstall CMOS battery.

Now shortcircuit Clear CMOS jumper for 10 s.

Remove shortcircuit.

Turn on the PSU switch.

Start system and immediately boot into the bios setup.

Load Optimized Defaults. Check Time and date. Check SATA Mode setting. If you did set SATA Mode to RAID Mode before you did Clear CMOS, please set SATA Mode back to RAID. Finish bios setup with Save & Exit.

Unfortunately in my case it did not work.
 
Today I replaced my Thunderbolt card and... OMG the hotplug now works with the THB_C cable connected and without having devices on at startup!!!
Probably the cause of this is the new BIOS for the Z370 series.

For those who want to try, here's what I did:
- Updated BIOS to the latest version (F10 in my case)
- Install the PCI TB card and connect the THB_C cable (if you have not already done)

These are the settings I used in the BIOS:
Do not touch the setting (I "burned" my TB card, see previous posts): Thunderbolt(TM) enumeration mode

The SSDT used is the same as I had before: SSDT for METHOD 2.

The only flaw (if you can say so), is that I have to keep the ERP disabled (setting in the POWER section of the BIOS), because otherwise my dock Thunderbolt does not turn on automatically but I have to unplug the cable and reconnect it, or turn it off and turn it on again. This is strange and I will try to ask Gigabyte support in the near future (which now seems to be working on the problem of the "Thunderbolt(TM) enumeration MODE" setting).

Have a nice THUNDERBOLT DAY :headbang:

Wow nice! Hope this isn’t a ”one off”, it would be a shame to loose your contributions for the rest of us! :)

Exactly, this applies to my Z370 configuration. If I'm not mistaken some time ago I had read that the Z390 chipset with the Coffe Lake Refresh processors would have had better support for the Thunderbolt.
The new bios released for the 300 series introduces support for the new intel processors, and probably the same Thunderbolt features, but I'm not sure
