External combo jack mic switch is working but not the earphones... any fix or quick fix? CX8200

You will need to describe in detail. I cannot begin to guess.

Four fingers gestures doesn't work and also "Double Tap to Hold" (840 G1 worked "out-of-rehabman's-post-install-box")

In what way does double-tap-hold not work?

Hi RehabMan,

I want to know if I could set clover to boot at my laptop's native resolution (1366x768). It's just a cosmetic thing I know, but I'm just wondering if it is at all possible to change the default clover values (1024x768) into my native resolution in config.plist?

edit:
I used CsmVideoDxe-64.efi and clover boot selection screen gets a much finer resolution (it looks like the resolution on the login screen) but it is garbled and it doesn't fit the entire screen. Also, if CsmVideoDxe-64.efi is used, I lose the apple boot loading animation. Only black screen and then a login screen afterwards.

No.

Hi there. Is this guide apply to 8570w? I don't see this machine in support list.

You need to read post #1 carefully.
Overview

The purpose of this guide is to provide a step-by-step guide to installing High Sierra, Sierra, El Capitan, or Yosemite on the ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook equipped with Intel graphics.

I have highlighted the portion of the first sentence you seemed to have skipped reading.

You need to use a different whitelist patch (my patch is specific to version, and I won't create one for Mojave until it is released).
You need to use the one that modifies the SMBIOS whitelist board-ids.
Oh.. Wasn't aware of that. Will try to figure it out.
Thanks!

Hi, I have a HP Elitebook 2560p and I followed the guide to install high sierra. Everything looks good except the wake up. I can't wake it up by keyboard or mouse. The Wake on USB option has been enabled in the BIOS. Would someone help me?

Close lid will go sleep but open the lid will not wake the computer up. The only way to wake it up by press the power bottom.

The problem reporting zip file uploaded.

Compare to a real Mac and you'll see.
you should have an operational brightness slider in SysPrefs->Displays. Keyboard control over backlight is a separate issue.
Both slider and keyboard control have same behavior from 10.10.x to 10.13.x? I adjust brightness using both slider and keyboard control, and compare to MacBook Pro, these is no notable difference...
Do you mean the brightness has a little graduated change?

It is as expected. Your computer does not have lid-wake or keyboard wake.
It is a hardware limitation.
You will find the same result with Windows or Linux.
