I don't think native brightness will ever work if you use KBL fake id. When using KBL fake id in display settings it shows a monitor while when not faking id it shows a MacBook screen.

Edit:
Btw, I managed to boot without fakeid by changing Chipset -> SA -> Graphics configuration -> Primary Display to IGFX. However, it boots to black screen again (brightness is ok during boot tho) and no brightness slider.

I cannot get the iGPU to work on osx != 17G2112 without faking the platform. So, the only way I can fix this I guess is to upgrade... again.. but this version works ok now.. So I'm not sure :)

Are you going to continue trying to get native brightness working or are you ok with that app?

Well, it bugs the hell out of me that it doesn't work. It's so close. The backlight injector looks at maxpwm to find the approriate panel. So there are two paths I see;
a) Upgrade to 17G2112, remove all kexts related to intel, whatevergreen etc. since they are not needed. Understand the structure of the panel configurations and create a new one for 144hz / our pwmmax. Clean up the pnlf patch. I'm 90% sure the reason why 117G2112 boots into black is because the injector can't find a panel match. The reason it went into black during the boot was the pnlf patch which was wrong. Which probably leads down a path were I'm not sure the patch is even needed, it's just a matter of creating a proper applebacklightinjector.kext panel value.

b) Leave as is.

On your system you could use this:
https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-ACPI-Debug

And see what value LEXW, LEVX you get out? That will tell us much about what needs to be fixed.

Oh, I am amazed of how you guys made hackintosable the Razer Blade 15, as I am a cgi designer I had to buy this laptop for the Nvidia 1070, and I hate to work in windows, I still having a hackintosh desktop since 5 years and I really love it, I cant wait to hack the Razer blade 15.

So, appart from the brightness is everything working well as all I can read?, the laptop is working always with the 100% of the brightness? If has the full brighness I think it should be fine to work with it?

Would be amazing if someone can make a guide to install all correctly in the laptop!!

thanks so much for all the info, it is super helpfull.

For me everything works except native brightness ("fake" brightness that simply adds a dark overlay on the screen can easily be accomplished with an app) and sleep (probably USB issue)

I think there is no way around the black screen with 17G2112, so be cautious about installing that version.

But as JomanJi says, everything works except native brightness because the system is tricked into thinking the internal screen is an external screen.

My battery doesn't last more than 3 hours however, but that's not a big deal for me. Nvidia works, so I was able to hook up a 4K LG monitor to it yesterday and it looked great. I was using HDMI so only 30hz, but I have a mini display port cable coming in today, so I'll let you know if that port works also (to get the 4k screen to 60hz).

I also turned turbo boost off, to get the system to run cooler, even thought I have liquid metal paste on it.

On 17G2112 backlight will only work (stuck at 100%) if you use kaby lake fakeid.

That's if you use the frame buffer injection right? W/o it just stays black?

sounds like I should hack my razer blade? I would need to have the brigthness correctly in my screen as I work with colours all the time, I dont mind If i can't make it less bright when I want, but at least to have it 100% full of bright, is that possible?

Can anyone that made it work almost fully made a guide? including the steps? I am super lost with all this previous posts.

Pleaaaaase.
