As above main build being High Sierra ("HS") 10.13.6 fully working off Samsung 970 EVO on HFS+j.

Utilising Corsiar 128 Gb SSD using APFS for test build. Used guide for USB install. Install was much easier than HS but my config.plist is, I believe, in a much better state than the various vagaries that existed since I started back at Mavericks and all the subsequent updates.

Haven't gotten to a Multibeast install of kexts et al as I am having a good look as to whats running natively. So far I've noticed that USB 2/3 ports, Marvell AHCI SATA, seem to be working OOB.

Screens (Dual Dell U2415) are on single port and utilising MST transport from one to other and working albeit with some vagaries.

Will provide updates as I move forward with build.

Things I Like
  • Seems snappier much like the changes to Ipad Pro with IOS 12 Beta.
  • New icons are good. Dark Theme suits.
  • LOLZ that US "trash" is now "Bin" ;)
  • Seems location for time zone has become much more specific including suburbs. I’m assuming that’s for accuracy for various things a phone would GPS locate.
Known Issues
  • Fair amount of "spinning wheel" syndrome.
  • Apple mail hangs and needs force quit.
  • Screens exhibit strange behaviors including going dark and returning for no apparent reason. Adjusting page zoom via keyboard gives a short term garbled look.
  • Strange sleep / wake recurrence when sitting idle for extended periods.
  • No audio ATM [FIXED] See https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...d-r9-280x-32-gb-2133-ghz.257351/#post-1789554

Wait for MultiBeast v10.4.0 to be released...soon. You can copy your Ethernet kext from your HS /L/E/ folder to your Mojave Desktop. Then, use KextBeast to put it into the Mojave /L/E/ folder.

To get audio working, do the following:
:ch: Download AppleALC and Luli kexts.
:ch: Put them in /EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/other/ folder.
:ch: Add "-lilubetaall -alcbeta" (without the quotes) to your config.plist Boot arguments.

Thanks Stork ... but to confirm did you mean “AppleHDA” rather than “AppleLDA”?

All good ... another query ...

Wait for MultiBeast v10.4.0 to be released...soon. You can copy your Ethernet kext from your HS /S/L/ folder to your Mojave Desktop. Then, use KextBeast to put it into the Mojave /S/L/ folder.

What's the ethernet kext called? ... and did you mean /S/L/E?

OR did you mean copy AppleIntelE1000e.kext from /L/E?

Can't say I've floated around these parts of OS X much.

AppleIntelE1000e.kext is the Ethernet driver. No, I meant /L/E/. (Must have more COFFEE!!)

Audio fixed using AppleALC 1.3.0 and lilu 1.2.5. Believe initial problem was older Lilu version. Removed "-lilubetaall -alcbeta". Work with OR without boot arguments.

Interestingly the first time I have seen the Dell U2415 display port audio listed.
