Broadcom WiFi/Bluetooth [Guide]

Model: Broadcom BCM4360 1.0 (7.77.37.31.1a9)

I actually just woke my computer from sleep to respond to this thread and I noticed that I had WiFi networks available! But then when I went to click on the icon, it reverted to being off. This is the first time this has happened and I am not sure how either. See screenshot (and excuse my neighbor's network name)

Could someone take a look at the debug file attached? I have still not been able to fix this issue and I would like to be able to try any suggestions.

Thank you

FakeSMC.kext is missing from /Library/Extensions

all kexts belong there, and only essential kexts stay in clover/kexts/other

Broadcom chip, what is the model of the WiFi card?
Screenshot shows noise @ 0 dbm, overwhelms signal @ -81 dbm
Antennas? Installation?

Installed 4352 patches with 4360 installed, why?
Remove all 4352 patches

Thank you. I fixed this. No changes noticed.

Pardon my ignorance if this is still not answering your question, but I have the BCM4360 chip connected to an M.2 slot using an adapter. This takes the place of the MOBO's original WiFi.

None of the networks in the screenshot are actually mine. I should have taken a larger screenshot, but my intent was to just show that networks were appearing, which wasn't the case before. I do have antennas installed to answer that part of your question.

I was confused (and still am) because of the appearance of of "4352" in the comments portion of the patches. This time, I have only included "4360" in the name of the patch.

Wifi has not been able to turn on. Please see new debug files.

and make sure config.plist InjectKexts ->Detect
When I changed this setting, I had the following result:
  • much slower boot (display even went to "no signal" briefly)
  • system was very slow after boot
  • WiFi in menubar appeared greyed out instead of off. Unable to click on it.
  • No Ethernet, no sound

you will need to upload new problem reporting files
