You will need to provide details (verbose boot photo, PR files).
None attached.

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

hi guys,

i dont know if it's just me, but ever since i did the whitelist removal, lenovo's energy manager conservation mode doesn't stick. i have 2 hdds, one for windows and one for mac. before whitelist removal, i would set conservation mode on lenovo's energy management software so as to prevent the battery from charging over 60%, even when i turned off the laptop, and turn it back on, the settings would stick. even when i was on mac os, battery would stop charging. BUT after the whitelist removal, settings wouldn't stick, it would stick when i do a restart but if i turn the laptop off and back on, conservation mode is off again. has anyone noticed this?

thanks

The only solution that I've found so far is the editing the config.plist in the LenovoNBFnKeys.kext file to enable Conservation Mode at start and disabling the functionality to swap the fn keys...

If you guys are still getting:
Code:
"Error 284: Fail to load driver (PCI access for Windows).
Tool needs to run with an administrator priviledge account.
PMxdll.dll DebugMsg: Call to PMXDestroy()"
try:

Code:
net stop pmxdrv

on the command prompt and flash again.
Worked for me!

Hi guys, I am trying to remove whitelist on my Lenovo G50-70 BIOS, and I did a steps according to your guide (thank you again :) up to creating of BIOS.bin, but now I am stuck - old version of Intel's Flash programming tool (I have fptw ver. 8.0.10.1464) cannot run on my Wind 10, and I can't find never version to download and try.
Yes, it sounds silly, and I know you will tell me to search the forum, read other posts and google...this was what I did last 4 hours :(
So please help me: send me a link to new version of fptw tool, or link to some other similar tool.
Thank you

I have laptop Lenovo G50-70 with:
-Intel Core i3 CPU
-8GB RAM, 256GB Samsung SSD
-Intel WiFi (will be replaced if whitelist removed)
-Intel Graphics
-Windows 10
...old BIOS, Hex editor...all by the book/Guide

ok,
so, here again is the problem report files, with the efi folder,
As I said previously, on my Thinkpad T420,I have flashed the bios, so when it starts up it beeps five times, then five times more, which indicates it has been updated.
The card seems to be recognised in System preferences, and the Wifi symbol appears on the top right of the screen.
The only thing is, when I try to turn WiFi on, it just blanks, nothing happens.
Does this mean the Whitelist hasn't been removed, or that the card is faulty?
I booted up in ubuntu, and wifi didnt work there either.

Should I get a new card, or try a different BIOS mod?
(I am using 1.46)

Hope you can give me some guidance on this!

Best to test your WiFi hardware on Windows.
