macOS 10.13.6 Update

So, my upgrade on the Z370 went pretty seamlessly. But I followed the same process I identified in other system updates and am outlining here:

1. Made sure I'm updating from a Sata connected internal drive OR if I'm using a USB booting drive, I ONLY use a USB 2.0 port on my computer.
2. Using Clover 4586 and all the most updated drivers and kexts, in Clover Configurator, I unchecked nvda_drv=1 under Boot in Clover Configurator and set CsrActiveConfig=0x67 under RT Variables in Clover Configurator. Also in Clover Configurator, updated the USB patch (Thanks PMHeart!), Updated my 10GbE patch (Thanks to Mieze).
3. Optional: If you upgrade via the App Store and your system definition is not iMac Pro, and you have a 10GbE card: Disconnect the 10GBE card and connect the 1 GbE built-in card on your system.
4. Uninstalled the Nvidia drivers using Vulgo's brilliant script (webdriver) -> sudo ./webdriver.sh -r.
5. Optional but recommended step: Updated caches -> sudo kextcache -i /
6. Reboot
7. Ran installer from the Combo update. But you could do it from the App Store, I think. Let it do it's thing. One reboot I think. I actually didn't watch it that closely.
8. Installed the latest nVidia driver (link at the first post of this thread) which works great.
9. Reconnected 10GBE card.
10. Double checked that nvda_drv=1 was re-enabled, will re-adjust CsrActiveConfig later, so just one more reboot and....

Done.

I can say that this update is a bit of a nothingburger. It did virtually nothing for my system and I'm not bothering with this "update" on any of my other systems.

From here forward, I'm only focused on Mojave.

Anyone else got weird font issues?
Like render issues, it's hard to explain. Sometimes it looks like you write in Rainbow colors.
I have. Any solution?

Just installed RX560 and have this problem.

UDP: I deleted WhateverGreen.kext and fonts looks better now. But not perfect.

Backed up my HD, downloaded and installed the lastest Clover (4586)... downloaded the update from the App Store, rebooted. It began to install, then rebooted again. Automatically selected "Install macOS Update from..." then... nothing. Black screen, no HD activity. At a loss. Any help would be appreciated.
When I updated to clover 4586 it removed OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi driver which caused the same problem you describe here, adding it back fixed the black screen.

Am I correct in "assuming" (the obvious luddite that I am) that this is simply an announcement as to what is to follow and to help us know that this is the updated kext to patch and not the previous patch?
Correct. It's good practice to keep a reference to the source of the patch as well as its purpose, especially if sharing them on the forums.

This should be in your drivers64UEFI folder.

Did you update the system with the Vega 64?

Yes, yours is missing from the picture you showed me here
It's not missing, it's removed as it's now obsolete. All of the OsxAptioMemoryFix drivers are no longer needed as AptioMemoryFix-64.DRV is the current version.

Yeah my 2nd monitor was using DVI to HDMI and went pink. I used straight HDMI and took care of the issue.
HDMI is working on my RX560 on 10.13.6, which is great!
I used iMac 14,2 board ID pasted into my existing iMac 18,3 SMBIOS with no Whatevergreen.
