Hi,
I'm new here so sorry about not complying maybe with some of the community guidelines.

So I have a lot of difficulties to comprehend everything of those guides here. And so I'm kinda stuck with no sound devices available. I will begin with some of the things I don't understand in those guides then I will describe my problem.

AppleHDA Realtek Audio Methods - Required: a. native AppleHDA.kext, b. EFI mounted

a. native AppleHDA.kext
No where on the thread you actually say how to get back the native kext. And why for example isn't it included into the installer? Why the installer doesn't remove the kext, copy a native one, then transform the native one?

why all those I. II. III. ... ?
Is it the order to follow through? Because if it is, why IV is problem reporting? shouldn't we have to go through installing it or uninstalling it first? And many other inconsistencies if it's the order to follow too.

And those tools you mentioned in a lot of guide. What to do with them? IS it to run them one by one?
example this :
Community Software/EFI Mounter v3
IORegistryExplorer_v2.1.zip (select View Raw, double click)
Restore native AppleHDA [Guide].pdf

because the mounter does nothing more than the MultiBeast installer...
And the pdf is not accessible anymore since it seems corrupted, can't read it on any of my devices.

Anyway about my problem

I'm trying to make to run a z270 professional gaming fatality asrock with an i7-7700k. According to asrock it's a realtek ALC1220 codec.

So as I followed a video on youtube, I didn't check the other boxes than ALC1220.... Apparently that didn't work since I do'nt have any peripherals in audio. So i checked on your website and apparently, but that's really not obvious to notice I had to install first the z200 something....
So first it's hard to find that information,
Second, it's really not clear in the guide,
Third, Why can't we check in the MultiBeast both? The z200 installation requirement and then the ALC 1220? How is the user supposed to know what to do? should he reboot? should he relaunch the installation ?
Forth, Why is there 2 option for z200?

The uninstallation process is just not helpful at all.
I didn't find the *3.zml.zlib
In the config.plist, there are just a lot more than 3 devices with AppleHDA mentionned: Here it is:

and again should we retrieve a native kext after that? if yes? where?

So I'm basically stuck here. I'm even afraid to reboot after all the modification I tried to do because of those guide on this website.

So does anyone have actually a step by step guide to remove it? reinstall it?

And after that May I ahve the authorization of the moderators to change those guides to make it comprehensible to morons like me?

Okey fair enough I’m going to update my profile then.

It’s done.
