macOS 10.13.6 Update

As explained i can work from this Yosemite hard drive and access the high sierra drive.
Please i need your help.
Thanks.

I had a similar problem some months ago. It turned out that I installed HS 10.13.2 with a HFS formatted drive, and then when I installed 10.13.4 it demanded a APFS formatted drive. So the install was APFS but Clover was missing the apfs.efi in DRIVERS64EFI. I booted from a USB stick, mounted the EFI partition and copied the correct apfs.efi to the SSD EFI partition.
I could then boot into new install.

But it seems like you may have covered that case....

Just a thought/suggestion

Yes I just got that and when I selected the install one it gets about half way through and reboots. If I select my regular hard drive it boots into HS as if I never started the update. Very odd.

I'm updating from 10.13.0 if that makes a difference.

Yup does the install icon show up on the second boot, if it does select it again , Mine it boots select install icon it starts installing then reboots then you select install icon again and it finishes install (this time it takes around 15 to 20 mins to install) then boot again and the install icon should be gone and you boot directly to your new install.

Hello.
Sorry for the panic but i use this computer for work and i'm stuck.
Luckily for me i had this old yosemite HD from which i'm writing now and i can access my original sierra hard drive from here.
I had a perfectly working High Sierra 10.13.5 installation but after updating clover with the configurator and copying the new attached apfs.efi (from here) to this folder /usr/standalone/i386/ (in preparation for the 10.13.6 update). I now can't boot into the hard drive.

Clover runs like usual but when i select my usual hard drive i get a black window and the loading bar doesn't show up.
Did i do something wrong? Is there a way to fix this? Can i restore the original APFS file? Is there something wrong with clover?

As explained i can work from this Yosemite hard drive and access the high sierra drive.
Please i need your help.
Thanks.

Check if new Clover update Removed your EFI driver AptioMemoryFix.efi

1. Boot into macOS High Sierra
2. Choose Finder > Go > Go To Folder
3. Navigate to /usr/standalone/i386/
4. Copy apfs.efi to /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI/
In which the instructions say to copy what is in the i386 (apfs.efi) TO drivers64UEFI.
If you still have a drive with 10.13.5, open the /drivers64UEFI/ and install the driver attached and also put the same in /usr/standalone/i386/

Check if new Clover update Removed your EFI driver AptioMemoryFix.efi
Also, when you do a Clover update choose the "Custom Install" option so you can make sure that all of the drivers are indeed chosen.

As explained i can't boot into my high sierra.
That said i think it's a clover problem as all this mess started after i updated clover with the configurator.
Do you have a Multibeast USB installer?

No but i guess i can make one from my yosemite hard drive that i'm using now. Ah damn...i don't have the OSX installation file.

Go to the App Store, download the entire OS, when the download is complete, quit the installer. The installer will now be in your Application folder. Follow the directions above. You should be alone to do this on your Yosemite drive. Then use the Unibeast installer to access your 10.13.5 drive.
