Post EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (omit 'themes' folder).

I put together a guide to install OS X 10.11 El Capitan on the ThinkPad x220 here:

http://x220.mcdonnelltech.com/

I don't have an x220 with USB 3.0 so unfortunately I can't address that issue.

Hope this helps!

Many Many Thanks Man !
Your guide is the easiest I ever seen about hackintosh !!!!

I chose Sierra ( 10.12.6 ) over HighSierra because it seems a bit faster ( based on many comparisons found online )

The Install and Post install ran very smooth !

I stil have a few Issues ( listed below ), but, in General, it is working fine !!! I have been able to setup my dev envirmoent as in a regular mac.

Maybe it has been a bit to slow than I am used ( had previously a 2010 mac air c2d 4g and ssd ) , but I think the ssd makes all the difference. I will get one as soon as possible ( I mean, when I be able to afford one ).

I ve seen many people complaining about Bluetooth issues. I got none ! works perfectly ! I have a trackpad, keyboard connected and also have been using BT to get internet until I get my wifi card replacement .

Sleep And Wake Up also work fine.

Issue List ( maybe you guys can point the right direction to fix each )

1 - Usb 3.0 does not work ( only as charger, no data transfer ). Already tried all versions of genericUsb from
RehabMan

2 - Screen Brightness control is missing ( on system preferences -> monitor ). Also not possible to adjust brightness using keyboard ( neither onboard nor apple bt one ) . It sucks because I can not calibrate the screen ( and I chose the x220 because of its IPS screen ) . I didn't dig deep into that yet.
* I also think there is a video issue because I can not run a game ( starcraft II ) . The crash report says lots about which looks like videos config files ( most of them on /S/L/Framewrok ) . I ll dig into that later .

3 - If I plug in an usb drive not formated or within a not reconized file system ( like ext ), the system just ignore the usb connection, I mean, in a macbook I would get a message telling me that the usb is not formated, and prompt me what to do ( eject/format or ignore ) . But here the drive does not show in finder nor disk utility.
* I tried to install FUSE to read ext and also not worked !

4 - Is there any way to make computer to sleep when close the lid ????

Once again, thanks johnmcdonnell

I have a x220 within i7 2nd Gen, 8gb ram 1333mhz
