Hi all,

I updated to High Sierra today after getting some Nvidia errors with the latest version of Sierra. My setup:
intel i7-7700k
mobo: Asus Prime Z270

Dual monitor setup:
1 monitor GTX1060
1 monitor KBL intel hd 630.

After updated the display connected to the GPU was working correctly, however the monitor connected to the I-GPU was not working and only shows a blue apple logo and the mouse.

I have tried installing the latest versions of the intel-graphics fix (and lilu) but without succes. My clover config states the following:
clover/boot/ - disablefgxfirmware
clover/devices/intelGFX: native-id
clover/graphics/ig-platform-id: 0x59120000
clover/SMBIOS/ Imac 18.3

Does anybody also had this problem and was able to fix it? Many thanks!

Try using your iMac18,3 system definition but with an iMac14,2 Board ID (Mac-27ADBB7B4CEE8E61).
Keep a copy of your current config.plist to revert if it doesn't help.

That solved my problem, thank you very much.

Just for my understanding, could you tell me how/why this works, if I may ask? :)

Magic.

In truth I have never looked into it, I have just seen it posted here as a solution.
If I had to guess I would say that the iMac14,2 Board ID matches with a different kext - YMMV.

That sound logical, but indeed sometimes it's some kind of magic xD

Thanks!
