Has anyone updated Clover to 4509? On my system I use Clover from the EFI partition of an OS X 10.13 NVMe drive (APFS) and otherwise have one Windows 8.1 NVMe drive and one Fusion Drive with 10.13 on HFS+. With Clover 4497 I had entries for all three OSes. With 4509, I can only see the OSes on the NVMe drives. If I press F3 to view hidden entries from 4509, there are no entries visible for the Fusion Drive OS X. I can see the Fusion Drive in Finder however and access all the files ok. I created a workaround by installing Clover 4497 in the EFI partition of the Fusion Drive (on the SSD EFI partition), so I can boot up 4497 from the BIOS boot menu or start up 4497 from within the hidden entries in 4509. But I haven't figured out how to make OS X from Fusion Drive appear in 4509. Any ideas please? Other than simply reverted back to 4497 in the main EFI partition? Cheers.

Update: I manually installed the UEFI 64 HFSPlus driver from Clover Configurator and the HFS+ drive appeared again in Clover boot menu. I noticed from my back ups that 'VboxHfs-64.efi' was indeed not automatically installed in Clover 4509 whereas this file was present in Clover 4497 and all versions of Clover after 4509 (if I'm not mistaken).

I had the same problem, just roll back to 4497 if you were ok with this version.

Yes, I have tried all manner of fixes and nothing has worked, so unless someone comes up with a solution I will be backing up the respective EFI folders and doing that any minute now. I assume this is a bug rather than config issue on my particular system.

Hello jimmakos01,
I have since 2 days a really big problem with the update of Clover to version 4509. Now, Clover Boot Manager just presents 6 items :
1/ Start UEFI Shell 64
2/ Clover Boot Options
3/ Options
4/ About Clover
5/ Restart Computer
6/ Exit Clover

How do you "just roll back to 4497" if you can't access to your system 10.12.6 or your backups ?
The 4 drives I have in my Hackintosh are invisibles when I boot...
I'm totally lost...

Thanks in advance.

I found info elsewhere but with the new clover installers, VBoxHfs-64.efi and SMChelper-64efi are not automatically installed. You have to customize the installation and add those to recognize HFS volumes. After that popped right up and working perfectly. Running it now...

It happened to me with the 4509 update via the control panel "Clover" had an update. I was hoping this would solve my missing HDA audio issue in 4497. This is the last time I am doing that!
After the 4509 update Clover couldn't fond a boot drive. I suspected something in the bios, went in tried various start up drives and no success. I then altered something in the normal bios setting have made the board unresponsive.

Being a dual bios board, I switched to the BU bios, ok, I could get clover to boot and show me, no hard drives. Since I had cloned the boot drive just before making these changes, that doesn't help me either.

I think my only recourse at this point is ti make a working 10.12 boot USB stick with Uin beast (is that right?) and have a older clover installer on it?

I need to get my machine back up and running w/boot drives and audio working again.

Any tips on what I need to do? Thanks!

To rollback boot on High Sierra installation USB and your Mac hard drive will show, then you can rollback to 4497 or whatever you use before and you can boot again

gigabyte z77ud5h on high sierra-32 g mem
dell inspiron 5323 on high sierra all are working except bat.-8 g mem.

My method is a little bit tricky. I have a macbook and an external case for 2.5 hard drives. So i pulled out the ssd from my hackintosh, put it into external case, then connect it to macbook.

I had download the latest clover from the download section ->
Clover UEFI Boot Mode with Emulated NVRAM v2.4k r4428

I've run the clover and change the install location to my hackintosh ssd, after that just connect the ssd to my hackintosh and everything was ok.

Updating Clover will never fix any HDA audio issues. If anything it causes audio issues about 50% of the time in my experience. On Z370, these are generally fixed by updating to the latest AppleHDA kext (I believe) and toggling the inject values in Devices in clover configurator until you find one that enables the audio through headphone socket.
