Hello,
My Hackintosh has been working great. I used it this morning with no problems. I just turned it on and it got to the desktop and froze and automatically restarted it self. It is currently running macOS Sierra 10.12.6. I don't know what the cause is, but it might be a bug in Mail. I have Mail set to open automatically when I log in. This issue has never happened to me before. Should I reinstall macOS Sierra without wiping my Hard Drive?

Hackintosh Specs-
Core 2 Duo
1TB WD Blue
4GB Ram
Nvida BFG GeForce 9400 GT 512 MB

Please someone help

Try the following:
  • Allow your Hackintosh to boot up normally to the logon screen.
  • Enter your password, but DON'T click on Login yet.
  • Hold down the SHIFT key, and then, click on the Login button. (Note: This should bypass any login items in your user profile.)
If that doesn't work try to boot in safe mode.
To boot into Safe Mode: At Clover Boot Screen press space bar and select Safe Mode (-x).

Thank you so much for the help, but it is set to auto login. Thats another problem. Is there a way to bypass auto login?

I just tried safe mode, but it still crashes

Should I just try reinstalling macOS Sierra?

Update -
The Hackintosh is able to boot and work normally if I use my USB installer as a Clover boot loader. However I don't get graphics drivers. It doesn't crash when I'm using the USB. I was able to disable all my auto login options, but still when booted from Clover on the main drive, it still crashes after 5 or 10 seconds. Now it is crashing at the login screen and other users. Should I re-install macOS Sierra?

Copy the EFI folder of your USB installer drive to the desktop, now mount the EFI partition of your hard drive, find and delete the EFI folder that is currently on the hard drive and replace it with the one you copied from the USB drive.
Now reboot and you should be able to boot without the aid of the USB drive

Thank you so much! My hackintosh is stable again. I am currently installing drivers again. Wish me luck.
