How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Hi guys, when I wake my computer from sleep I notice that every USB device connected has been ejected then reconnected.
If I connect my iPad to any rear USB 2/3 port it charges nicely at 2.1A and continues to do so during sleep, which is great.
However when I wake from sleep, I can see in IOReg all USB devices were disconnected.

I have read somewhere to disable XMP, I have tried that with no luck.
I have also tried with and without KGP's USB kext, no luck either.
I have tried various darkwake values with no luck

When I connect a USB HDD or USB flash drive to the iMac Pro, there is no disconnection after sleep.

Does anyone have any solution? I've been experimenting and just can't figure it out.
Does anyone experience this too?

Hi KGP
Disable Device/Change device ID BR1A for try to sleep X299 .

Comment-Change device ID BR1A._ADR0x00 to 0x01-X299-TB3 N.Mano
Find- 42523141 085F4144 520A00
Replace- 42523141 085F4144 520A01

Hi @nmano,

I really appreciate all your efforts!

However, using my current SSDT and SSDT-TB3, sleep/wake works without any issues, also with thunderbolt devices connected.

Do you really think that the use of HibernationFixup.kext and the ACPI replacement you mention above would gain anything in addition?

As I say, sleep/wake perfectly works also with TB devices plugged to the Alpine Ridge as long I don't remove the TB cable.

Only drawback is, that XHC USB device get ejected during sleep but immediately reconnect on wake.

The same happens btw with all other XHC USB devices connected to the ASUS Prime X299 Deluxe onboard XHC USB controller.

In contrary, all TB devices remain connected, also during sleep/wake. Only drawback with TB cable connected - no TB hot plug.

Cheers,

KGP

Do you think there is anyway to solve this disconnect during wake? I don't have the TB card connected.
Is there anything in the SSDT that can be changed to resolve this?

My system X99 with Thunderbolt sleep not work.
I change _PRW
I change GPRW to XPRW
I change lots SSDT with THB
make pikealpa sleep patch
No changes so sad.
This command for wake reason
Code:
log show --style syslog | fgrep "Wake reason"

I try to ask help rehapman

No luck with my SSDTs either? You can easily adopt them to X99. I also did... Sleep/wake for me also works perfectly on X99 despite the ejection and remounting of XHC USB devices on wake.

@RehabMan Do you have any ideas what this could be? Or what can be done to solve this?
