Nope, looks like we are at the end of Nvidia support for El Capitan. They never updated the link on page one. I think this thread is now dead.

It's a no go for me. I keep getting a no driver detected message and my system defaults to the Apple driver. I have tried just about every combination of Nvidia driver and CUDA driver there is and I get the same result.

In the past all updates went smoothly and the driver update was never an issue.

Time for High Sierra anyway I guess.

This typically happens when your motherboard does not natively support NVRAM.
Test.
Fix : Install EmuVariableUefi-64 and RC scripts or install AptioMemoryFix or OsxAptioFixv3.
Or use one of the Clover Builds.
