Awesome! Great to hear! Can you cut the NGFF adapter without affecting its functionality, or did you not try?

What are you going to do for your 'newer' system?

Functionality not affected with the cut.
I put the BCM94360CS2 back into my z370 board once i saw wifi and bluetooth was fully operational on my old system.
Old system now has a BCM94352HMB AW-CE123H with a different PCI adapter functioning well.
Both systems are running 10.13.4

So I just had to do a quick write-up on this because I've hardly seen it mentioned in the networking/WiFi threads...

A lot of people have been talking about these for a while. For me, I bought my first back in Oct. of last year. See post: #24

If you have a small portable box, you might want to check out the Zigby antennas and adapters in that link too. I love having stubby antennas that I don't have to pull off for transport. Nobody talks about them because technically, they're not for wifi, but they are 2.4ghz and work just fine.

Hi,
Have any of you heard about 12+6 Pin Apple WiFI/BT Card to M.2 NGFF Adapter that will fit Dell Latitude e7470?

I do have:
Mini PCI-E Adapter for BCM94360CD, but no PCI-E port in e7470
BCM94360CS2 Card To NGFF(M.2) Key A/E Adapter this one is NGFF(M.2), but it's not working with my BCM94360CD, card not recognized in BIOS and I cannot connect antennas. Looks like different connectors? Maybe it would work with BCM94360CS2?
BCM94360CD is working with Desktop PCI-E adapter, so the card is not a fault here.

Currently, I'm using DW1830 (BCM943602BAED), but due to Handoff, Apple Watch unlock I'm looking for something else.

I’ve ordered this adapter on eBay https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.de/ulk/itm/253366349283

It’s supposed to work with the 3x3 BCM94360CD card in an A/E-key m.2 slot. Will try it on my GA-z370n WiFi when I get it (which will be in a month or so due to slow shipping from China).

So.. pleasant surprise - the adapter arrived already today. And it works like a charm. I had to bend the shield around the stock WiFi-card somewhat to make it fit, since the adapter+bcm94360cd are a bit wider and much taller. I also swapped the stock antenna connectors for different ones so I can use stub antennas. I’m only using two antennas for now since I only need Bluetooth for Apple keyboard and trackpad and no WiFi other than handoff/continuity and the occasional WiFi hotspot during cable internet outages.

Can you please measure how mutch it sticks from the build in cage, that you modified? I want to order one, but I'm not sure it will fit my SFF case.

I guess this will only work for people with a/e key m.2 on their motherboard? I have an atx board and it only comes with m.2 m key for ssd.

Has this been confirmed? If your m.2 is m key only then this option won't work?

M.2 M key doesn't have USB so you definitely won't get Bluetooth. Not sure if the Wi-Fi portion will work if you plug it in to an M key slot.

Thank you! I will stick to pcie in that case

I'm using these two I got from eBay. They both work perfect on Mojave 10.14.2 full airdrop continuity and hotspot it ships from USA, you guys give it a try.
This is for the PCI-e x1 version

And this is for the M.2 version

no kexts or any patching are needed 100% confirmed
they both work great in windows 10 with bootcamp drivers
highly recommended

@iaksakkah, Man, I haven't thought about Deicide in a long time... Fellow metalhead here.

Good to see people are still having positive experiences with these adapters. I've swapped mine through 3 different builds now and it's still the best solution in my opinion.

Also for the SFF people out there, fits in Dan A4 and Louqe Ghost S1 cases just fine...
