[Solved] Sound not working ALC 233

If you're expecting me to search for you, then you won't be getting anywhere.
i installed that but no effect same problem still
 
@RehabMan i tried ALCPlug fix but results are the same no difference in distortion using earphones

Look for different patched AppleHDA.
And you should probably double check your work with ALCPlugFix (I'm almost certain it requires custom configuration per codec).

This ALCPlugFix works for me *(Z-Book Asus X302LA)

  • It sends command: hda-verb 0xNode SET_PIN_WIDGET_CONTROL 0xVerbs to activate headphone jack.

Fix copy hda-verb to /usr/bin make daemon and reflashes kextcache

Works together with CodecCommander, AppleALC and Lilu.kext.

Thanks speaker is now working but earphones are not working properly the first time i connect earphones it works perfectly but then i disconnect and the second time i connected earphones the sound becomes so distorted

Try ALCPlugFix. Of course, CodecCommander must be installed. I have exactly the same ALC and the same problem that has been solved with this. The sound is now perfect. The microphone also works perfectly.
