macOS 10.13.4 Security Update

Anyone know which ATI drivers were updated?

Something has been up with my XFX HD6870 1024MB since installing.

Have tried different frame buffers in clover conifg just to verify, and no difference.

video memory performance seems drastically reduced. I get warnings on my CAD programs now that I am operating with reduced video memory and that it will cause performance glitches, yet I've never received the message prior to the update.

system profile says the same thing it did before as well. 6870 with 1024mb...

does anyone have a suggestion what I may try to figure out what is causing the issue?

Update went smooth.

On my secondary system with Sapphire PULSE RX580 8GB I still need Lilu + WEG for HDMI/DP Audio. Without Lilu and WEG Heaven Benchmark closes everytime when you click on "Benchmark". Cleary not working fully =/ If anbody knows why, would be lit to solve this. Im comparison: A friend of mine has the same Mainboard and CPU and the SAPPHIRE Pulse Vega56 which is working OOB without anything, but has the problem with the maximum fanspeed…

My ASUS ROG STRIX Vega56 cleary working better in terms of fanspeed, no maximum fanspeed on heavy load.

As I said if somebody knows something — would be lit!

Hey,

For me, the update got stuck on apfs_module_start.
Before starting, I updated apfs.efi to the latest version.
Do you have any idea what happened?

See Post #2 :

Please post help requests in the High Sierra Desktop Support Forum section (not in this thread).

I'm following the instructions:
  1. I updated the apfs.efi
  2. I made sure FakeSMC.kext is in /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Others
  3. I pressed update in the app store which ran quite quickly and then rebooted
  4. After reboot, Cover automatically selects the "Install OSX" option
  5. Then it shows a black screen for 20 minutes or so, followed by showing this:

I tried:
  1. Upgrading clover to latest version: https://www.sourceforge.net/projects/cloverefiboot/files/Installer/
  2. Upgrading FakeSMC to latest version: https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-fakesmc-kozlek/downloads/
I'm still able to boot into 10.13.3 without issues, but not able to upgrade to 10.13.4. Any ideas? - maybe it's the NVME storage?

Apple Store shows 1 update in its blue symbol but no entry in the window (empty)

Have read that post. But don't understand what of this is relevant to not showing the update.
Ah, my post is an information of what can go wrong because I think there is no help for that.

The update was successful!

My procedure
1. Update Cover
2. Update NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext
3. Update macOS from Mac App Store
4. If you let go, the installation will end!
5. Because Audio did not work properly, use MultiBeast to insert VoodooHDA
6. Update Nvidia Web Driver (Automatic update is recommended)
7. Reboot

Graphics, Internet, sound all worked fine!

Until the update, my RX 560 was fine without RadeonDelnit, Lilu, WhateverGreen. But after updating I needed Lilu and WhateverGreen. The RX 560 seems to be completely out of support.
It is strange that it is a security update this time.
I would like to have a report of RX 560 users.
