HP Elitebook 840 G4

I have an HP Elitebook 840 G4 laptop and wanting to get either Sierra or High Sierra on it. I did put High Sierra on it but having issues with the battery and the graphics states 3mb so the screen flickers at logon. What do I need to do i cant find any info on this model.
