Hi there,

after about six years with my old Hackintosh it was time to move on. So I decided on the newest hardware and assembled it quite easily. I followed all the rules of the latest installation guide here, but the installation keeps getting stuck.
Just after clover (before the MacOS installer from the USB stick) there is a hang. I attached a screenshot of the error.

Screenshot Install stuck 1.jpg

Although I looked for hours here (and else), I couldn't find a solution to that. I double checked everything in the BIOS and nothing makes a difference. When I drop all OEM the installer hangs on "FakeSMCKeyStore".
I have seen there are people with almost exactly the same specs, who didn't have any trouble at all installing.
Probably I missed something, maybe someone has a good tip for me. (Clover Setup / config list?)

Help is very much appreciated !!!
Thanks, Eike

These errors are typically the result of too many unnecessary DSDT/ACPI fixes in the config.plist.

Attach your config.plist.

Hi P1LGRIM,

thanks very much for the quick reply!
Here is my config.plist from the UniBeast created USB stick. (Clover Folder)
Indeed there are a lot of parameters included.

Hope this will help to find what causes the hang.
Greeting, Eike

No need to paste it into the thread - Attaching it is quite enough.

See if these modifications make any difference :

Hi there.

I'm not an expert on this, but ...

You could try changing:

<key>CsrActiveConfig</key>
<string>0x3</string>

to

<key>CsrActiveConfig</key>
<string>0x67</string>

... and see if that makes any difference. (This disables SIP which may allow certain kexts to load that are otherwise blocked by 03)

:)

(Sorry @P1LGRIM - it looks like we posted at the same time!)

So I tried it all again from scratch but had the same outcome.:banghead:
I downloaded the MacOS again and the latest UniBeast, then created a new USB stick.

Maybe it has something to do with the BIOS: Z370 Aorus Ultra Gaming Wifi (F1)
So my config.plist doesn't match. Does anyone have a successful installation on that?

UniBeast created: Clover Version 2.4k rev 4428

Hi,
thanks to your efforts, but unfortunately both hacks didn't work. I got exactly the same error as in the screenshot.
Any other idea, what I could try? I am pretty lost on this...

thanks for the help, but sadly it didn't make a difference. Running out of ideas...

See if editing your ACPI_Drop Tables in the config.plist opened in CCV as shown in uploaded image could help.
