I grabbed the updated EFI file and placed that in the EFI partition of the USB drive. I even pulled the SSD and stuck it back into the HD docking station, mounted the EFI and placed the EFI file you uploaded there as well. Again I really appreciate all of the help.
Here is the screen I get. I have placed the USB drive in the USB 2.0 and USB 3.1 ports and get the same message.

As far as the RAM goes I have all slots filled. Each one with 16GB of RAM for a total of 64GB.

What are your thoughts on unlocking the MSR 0xE2 register? Is that still necessary with this MOBO?

If you have all four RAM slots filled, even if your motherboard does have the issue I mentioned, you should still be able to boot in to the installer, albeit with only 32GB until you enter your RAM info in to config.plist.

I don't even know what MSR 0xE2 is.

Please try this EFI folder. I changed to the new PMHeart USB fix.

Still getting the same screen when the screen scrambles I can make out the last line that says,"Still waiting for root or boot device."

I don't get it... It should be booting. Have you triple checked your BIOS settings? Have you tried restoring BIOS settings to default and then reapplying according the the installation guide?

If I understand well, you are getting the error message when trying to boot with your USB Unibeast installer.
I have a Z170 motherboard, so older generation then your's, but I had the same error message a couple of days ago and battled a few hours before finally being able to install HighSierra.
If just after the above error message and when your screen scrambles you get the 'Prohibited' sign, then you could try what solved my issue : Download USBINjectAll.kext and place it in the EFI folder on your USB installer in clover/Kexts/Other, then try again booting.

Downloaded the latest USBINjectAll.kext from RehabMan and place it in the EFI folder on your USB installer in clover/Kexts/Other. Still did not work.

I am going to post images of every screen of my BIOS in my next post to make sure I am not missing something.

MSR 0XE2 probably refers to parts of the bios is locked and can't be written to....this is common with bios from Asus.....see @kgp posts if you want more detail...."......On a real Mac with native OSX XCPM power management, the MSR 0xE2 register is unlocked and therefore writeable. However, on ASUS mobos this register is usually read only...."

And, the MSR 0xE2 register does not have to be unlocked to install macOS. I have an Asus X99-A II and I have not unlocked the MSR 0xE2 register, and installed macOS successfully on it (many times). And you have an Asus motherboard that you have installed the macOS on. So, it's not required.

I believe that I followed the BIOS Settings based on the installation guide. I also followed settings for your build.

I noticed that your secure boot setting was Enabled, it should be Disabled. First thing I would recommend is to reset your bios settings to vanilla, and then follow closely Tonymac's recommendations for BIOS. I also checked in Storks viii Hero build , there were a couple of settings probably particular to ASUS motherboard which I also applied to mine, but again this was for the viii generation of ASUS. You can also have a look at PastryChef Maximus X build which might be more relevant for you. I found it also very convenient to group as much as possible the settings to be set for a Hack in the My favourites section of the bIOS. This way it's easier when you have to do cross checkings. Please see my 2 screen shots attached : One for My favourites and one for the my secure boot options settings). Hope this helps.

So, Benjamin, are you trying to boot via some kind of USB? Like a hard drive in a case connected to a USB port on your computer?

Creating the Favorites was a great idea. I am not able to change the secure boot state from Enabled to Disabled.
