I'm having this exact same issue. My USB key works fine. I can copy the EFI folder from the USB key over to the EFI on the hard drive and it still doesn't work. Same error, USB key works fine.

This is my first build, and I'm having the same issue. I'll try the "concrete" USB port and see if that works.

Still didn't work. Not really sure where to go from here.

I'm stuck as well. I'm using the ASUS 370-A Prime with a 8700k. No graphics card. Just the processor

Have you tried Fake CPUID?

I got it to install Mac OS High Sierra with my setup using the steps followed here:

One of his links for a kext file didn't work so I'm going to see if I can install that after having already installed the rest of the OS. The only other thing that doesn't work for me is Wi-Fi so I wasn't able to update the OS after the initial installation. Other than that though, it works

I did everything to a 'T' on this write-up and it still restarts after "End RandomSeed" and I see a line of "++++++++++++".

Not really sure where to go from here / what is causing this.

Your memory needs to be in channels A1 + B1. The installer fails to boot without this. Resolved this same issue for me.

Yea thats one thing I changed too. I installed Mac OS with only 1 stick of RAM in the first slot. Then I tried to put in the other stick and haven't been able to boot into Mac OS. How do you go about changing the channels? This is through BIOS right?

I feel so dumb lol this is so basic I feel like. I've gotten everything else to work
