Motherboard
HP ProBook 6560b
CPU
i5-2520m
Graphics
Intel HD 3000 + ATI Radeon 6470m

I used the installation guide, utilising Unibeast with Chameleon, and used the ProBook Installer afterwards. I cannot seem to get the display to run in the correct resolution (locked at 1024x768), and About This Mac shows the graphics card only at 3mb with an 'unknown display'. I have tried installing different AMD6000 kexts, different frame buffers, and a custom DSDT, nothing seems to work. GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No seems to make no difference.

Interestingly, using the Clover pkg corrects the video card, but it does not boot fully.

Thank you. That is the method I used to create the Clover boot.. In verbose it is getting stuck at bluetooth transport not responding.

No 'kexts' for display, changing plist has not changed much, except GraphicsEnabler=Yes puts it in endless boot. I am just going to try a Sierra install instead. I was just hoping to be able to use Final Cut Studio again.

Thank you.

Did not use that guide for Chimera. But I am going to use it now for installing Sierra. Thanks much. :)

Chimera no longer supported for your laptop.
Note that the guide I linked applies only to Intel equipped ProBooks
Your profile indicates Radeon only... not sure if that is accurate... for you to verify.

Intel HD 3000 and discrete ATI Radeon 6470m. Had them both in my profile, but was not sure if should be there after you suggested I sort the profile.

Will the guide still work with having both video cards?

As per FAQ, "Graphics" in your profile should list all graphics devices.

Yes.
Radeon is disabled in ACPI.
