I got rid of NvidiaGraphicsFixup v1.2.4 while using patched *25.106 and I don't notice any difference. I don't think I need it because I'm using SMBIOS 14,2 instead of 17,1 to avoid the OEM GPU issue.
EDIT: Never mind, I put it back because I occasionally get the blackscreen without it.

[EDIT] I have since fixed the boot issue in "Kernel and Kext Patches" section in Clover Configurator by unchecking everything as none of these applied to my system. <Moderators, I know its not related to this thread, so I removed the pictures and content>

FYI - To avoid "the black screen," make sure you revert to Lilu v1.2.2 & NvidiaGraphicsFixupv 1.2.4 when reverting back to *25.106. When I tried to use the unreleased kexts with the older driver, I got the black screen.
Interesting. Went back to .106 but still have Lilu 1.2.3 and NvidiaGraphicsFixup 1.2.5 but I also Restored back to 10.13.3 due to the whole system going down the tubes with 10.13.4, after 24 hours.

I am happy to report after tons of reboots, fiddling. All is good! System is smooth with .103, Lilu, and Nvidia. I made sure to enable Inject Kexts on System Parameters. It works! No extra Kexts in Systems/Library/Extensions and Library/Extensions folders, only those included in original Mac OS + Multibeast installation options. I also did a kext cache rebuild and fixed permissions with Kext Wizard. Thank you! I'm a happy hackintosher!

Ok, here it goes:

I'm reaching out to all of the great, amazing people in this community for your help. This is my first Hackintosh build (wife and I have named her Ripley - from the Alien series). She had been working pretty well with a few exceptions. The ultimate goal is to get full acceleration and the best rendering speeds in FCPX/Motion (which I use primarily) and Adobe AE and some other apps.

When it was working at it's best, I would have artifacts appear in the preview of some of the generators and plugins in FCPX (mostly motionVFX plugins) and normal video footage. I've uninstalled and reinstalled them to no avail. I'm aware it has to do with something in my setup. I've read through most of the comments in this post to try and find the best way to resolve this and here's where I'm at:

1. Do I try to fix what I currently have by changing a number of settings?
2. Do I erase it all and start from scratch? (really don't want to do this)

I've included a zip file with everything I can think would be needed to make an assessment (config.plst file, screen shots of S/L/E folder and L/E folder, etc.) and some additional screen shots. My current SYMBIOS is iMac 14.2 (thinking this should be changed), I'm using Clover Configurator 4.60.3.4, and my specs are:

Gigabyte-Z170X-UD3
Intel Core i7 6700K (Skylake)
32GB RAM (2x16gb BallistiX Sport)
EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB SSC GAMING ACX 3.0

I thank you all in advance for your help, wisdom and advice.
=)

Rodney

Because I can use them on my GTX 9xx series cards w/o any problems, like others with the same cards. Additionally, it appears to be a Skylake and newer system problem for the GTX 10x0 cards.

I have an Nvidia GTX 980 TI + i7 6700K and I experience the clunky stalls with the newest (387...30) drivers. The .106 drivers (released for High Sierra 10.13.2) work best for me.

Laggy, for me, and I can that it's really slow..

These are the most recent ones, I compiled NvidiaGraphicsFixup just a few minutes ago ant Lilu yesterday.
And I can confirm that the lag is gone now and even better, all the other problems like x-plane taking forever to quit are gone!
The files are version 1.2.5 NvidiaGrapicsFixup and 1.2.3 Lilu.

Cheers for compiling.

I can confirm these two kexts have completely fixed the lag issues for me with the latest Nvidia drivers. Woohoo!
