I'm using 18.3 cus that is the only SMBIOS that supports Intel Core i5 7600.

And that works fine for you with HD 630 graphics? I was having severe screen glitching with 18,3 and the only way to fix it was to change SMBIOS to 18,1.

Did you tried 18.2? I only use the HD630 for AppleTV and it works - otherwise Nvidia.

I didn't try 18,2 because the real iMacs that use that identifier use a discrete card, not HD 6xx graphics. Only 18,1 machines use the Intel HD 6xx

hi all - maybe you guys can help me out on this issue. booting with the hdd efi folder doesn't work. Is there possibly anything I forgot? Why are the required kexts linked if the only thing necessary is the efi folder in the zip files (be it usb or hdd folder)???
When I copy the hdd folder contents to the efi folder the apple logo appears and the progress bar shows up for about half a second and then it crashes with a reboot. So sad.
A helping hand would be awesome!
TIA.

(additional info: I was trying out both possible ways - with apfs and the good ol' hfs+)

You dont need Realtek & Atheros Ethernet kexts. Your Ethernet will work with IntelMausiEthernet.kext.
Additionally you need XHCI-200-series-injector.kext and AppleALC.kext and Audio ID = 11 via clover to get audio working.
Code:
<key>Audio</key>
        <dict>
            <key>Inject</key>
            <string>11</string>
        </dict>
tried that with fresh install of 10.13.6 and doesn't work with current kexts... unfortunately. Anybody help - please???

additional question: is it possible to get both ethernet ports working? (only the one closer to the sound cinch ports works) and if so- how? TIA!!!
