Thanks, but that's not it, tried it and still only one USB3 port works as USB3, other ports are identified as USB2. It is enough for me since I only really need this to download hundreds of GBs of video footage from the cameras and cards and other media, one at a time.

Only variable that comes to my mind is that I have a monitor with a USB hub connected to that one port that works, is it possible that it has something to do with why the other USB3 ports are not properly identified, I'll check if unplugging the hub would somehow change things and report back.

Ok! Just checked. Usb 3.0 support fully working on 10.3.3 here!

I did install it slightly different, looks like 3 of the 4 kexts needed for USB 3.0 support install via multibeast now. You no longer need those kexts in EFI folder if you install via multibeast. So now the only kext needed for USB 3.0 in EFI folder is X99_Injector USB 3.kext Will update guide to reflect that. I was also able to install VoodooHDA from multibeast, so no longer need that in EFI folder either.

guide updated 2.26.2018 with new changes for 10.13.3

Hm.. I followed the updated guide, and I still end up stuck in a boot loop when web drivers are enabled. I'm only able to boot with nv_disable=1. I'm assuming you didn't run into this problem?

Edit: I haven't tried updating to the supplemental build for 10.13.3--maybe that is why it isn't working?

*disclaimer* This guide is only for x99 ud4 motherboard / i7 5820k / gtx 1080ti. I can only vouch for that setup. If you have diff setup you will need to do your own trial n error.

Sometimes it can boot to a black screen if you change system definition to mac pro. Stay on imac & dont change system definition that can make it do that.

If its still not working make sure nvidia web drivers are checked in clover configurator. And make sure you installed the web drivers for the exact version of osx or it wont work either.

if you can boot up with nvdisable that means it should work. Prob something small. keep trying

guide updated 3.13.2018

you no longer need USB audio device for sound, with new VoodooHDA kext v2.9.0d10. (Still keep usb audio device as a backup though)

Finally onboard sound seems to be reliable. (Fingers crossed)

That should do it. 100% Working for 2018 in High Sierra

Well... now I feel dumb. I think it was just a fault vga to dvi adapter causing the panic. Displayport/HDMI work like a charm. Thanks for the help malki--I now have onboard audio working thanks to you!

glad its working!

will asus hero VI work what bios i need as i have the newst bios update

need to modify the guide, but can use it as a general install guide. since its a different chipset you will need different kexts to make it run correctly. search up what kext you need for your onboard sound, internet, what video drivers you need, etc

Thank you sooo much for this guide! Worked flawlessly after some basic tinkering (my first hackintosh)

If you followed the guide and have the "osinstall.mpkg is missing" error, you probably forgot to put in the right SMBIOS information (which you need to do yourself after unibeast)

Other than that it works perfectly!

Thanks so much for taking the time and making this guide
This worked for me with 5820K and MSI X99s Mpower. The exact same files and steps worked for me..
only thing I changed is Disable VT-D in bios to aviod an allocation error that happens randomly on startup
This error never happened when I use dart=0 ,so I googled that and knew it just disables VT-D
But now all works perfectly.
