nvidia-update - Simple way to install nVidia web drivers

hi, i tried the script and it installed the NVIDIA Web Driver 378.05.05.25f07 for the GTX 960. But the same problem as before. Correkt colours, FullHD, but the same "grafic-problemes" when I use Mac OS default graphic drivers = grey dock etc. Any idea?

I wanted to confirm that "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB" worked with "Gigabyte h170m-ds3h" motherboard on 10.13.3
1. I followed instructions from benjamin.dobell (Thank you)
2. Used multibeast and enabled "NVIDIA WebDrivers Boot Flag" & "Clover UEFI Boot Mode + Emulated NVRAM"

3. Selected "NVIDIA Web Driver" instead of "Default macOS Graphics Driver" (not sure if this is required as it might happen automatically)
4. Disabled motherboard graphics in BIOS

Works just great!

What connector type are you using? As I don't have a Displayport, I'm using HDMI.

Displayport, but I've yet to try another port with the latest Nvidia drivers on 10xx Pascal GPUs. 4K is tricky over HDMI. I've had many issues with TVs, cables and monitors. Even in Windows 10, especially with HDR activated.

I optimistically assumed 10.13.4 and the next Nvidia release would be solid for sure. I wonder if we'll always be stuck on patched 106? Is it time to start looking at replacement AMD video cards? Maybe the answer is to go back to Sierra or El Cap? sigh

So what would you guys say is the most stable driver to be on right now? The tool seems to put me at 378.10.10.10.20.109. I'm still experiencing very bad window resizing lag on certain applications, mouse freezing when closing tabs in web browsers (only sometimes) and transitions not always being smooth.

for me 378.10.10.10.25.106 is 100% work, no lag GTX 1060 OC 3gb OSX 10.13.4

No, that's giving up. We will write our own drivers, like true hackers!
