I can confirm that my GTX 660 Ti also suffers from artifacts with Final Cut Pro 10.4 but in Sierra 10.12.8. Went back to previous version FCPX 10.3.4 and it runs with no issue.

best glitch so far....... on the left is my dock....
these could become collectable... hahahaha

I finally tapped out and got an AMD rx 570. Man that user interface and scrolling on Safari is buttery smooth. Highly recommend it since it looks like this problem isn't getting fixed.

AMD rx 570. nice..... don't suppose anyone could loan me $300 till my ship gets in?

I finally gave up. Went on eBay and snagged a GTX 970 SSC for 210 including shipping. Man this is the WORST time to have a GPU issue. The miners are making the prices blow up.

Im staying on Sierra. There's not much on HS that entices me to upgrade other than h265

Hi folks. I've been waiting for this issue to be solved for months but still no progress, so I can't update to High Sierra. And finally I am considering buying a new GPU. But I am not very good with hardware. I have Gigabyte Z87M D3H motherboard, and I found a used ZOTAC GTX 1050 that I can buy. Is that GPU compatible with my motherboard? Which detail should I pay attention while looking for a GPU model? Please help :)

It will work fine with your motherboard, using the web drivers. The web drivers have been problematic recently, causing lag and performance issues. The 1050 will not be affected by the corruption issue. They are overpriced right now, as are most cards, because of the greed and cryptocurrency mining.

Can anyone report on the 660 status with yesterday's 10.13.4 update? Looks like there were some graphics related changes.

Thanks for the reply! Is there a GPU which has native support (I hope I am using the right word, I am trying to mean "without requiring web drivers" :) ) and isn't affected about this glitching?
