Hello everyone.

I'm new here, can anybody help me?

I want to build a multimedia PC where I can run OS High Sierra but also Windows 10
(I have a swap case in my Big Tower so the systems will be on separate disks)

I want to be able to run Logic PRO X and Final Cut Pro smooth and stable on this PC for which I need to run OS High Sierra 10.12. I also need a minimal 8GB RAM (preferably more)

The Windows part is not very special, I just want to be able to play a windows game when I feel like it.

for now my budged is around €600

It would be really helpful if someone could help me on my way with this.

With a budget of only 600 euros it will be difficult to build a new I7-8700K system. The cost of AMD graphics cards like the RX580 which is the best fit for FCP X and logic cost around 400 Euros alone. So I would start with a 6 core I5-8400 and a mATX Z370 motherboard. Look through the options here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/buyersguide/special/early-adopters-guide-coffee-lake-300-series/

Here's the best RX580 to get.

Here's a Gigabyte Z370M motherboard that will work with the I5-8400

You could start by using the integrated Intel graphics until you can afford the RX580. Another option would be to use the Gigabyte RX560 graphics card if you could find that below 200 Euros.

Note: it may be better for you to shop on Amazon.de instead of through these .fr links.

If you absolutely have to stay under 600 Euros for your build budget you can get one of these and install the RX560 for FCP X.

thanks for the info.

I have been looking at your advise, and at what I want for my windows PC as well.
I have decided to save up a little bit more, sell my windows 10 Gaming PC in juli, that combined with my saved up money should be enough to buy:

ASRock Fatal1ty Z370 Professional Gaming i7, socket 1151
Intel Core i7-8700K, 3,7 GHZ (4,7 GHz Turbo Boost) socket 1151 processor
MSI Radeon RX 580 ARMOR 8G OC
Crucial MX300, 525 GB SSD
Seagate BarraCuda, 2 TB HDD
CM Storm trooper big tower
Thermaltake Smart RGB 700W
HyperX Fury 32 GB DDR4-2133 Kit (Black Edition)

IF this is recommendable for a Hackintosh of course.
(but if you have recommendations I will of course look at it, I want what is best for my musical career, for that Logic Pro is most essential)

Looks like that build should work well for you. Good choices.

so these components are good to use for an hackintosh build? or should I look for other manufacturers?
