I tried to correct the problem with the trackpad options but no success. Tapping to click and 3 fingers gestures are working nicely, the only problem is really the two finger scroll. Sometimes it scrolls nicely but when I try to slide quickly to make a longer scroll it barely moves or don't move at all.

You might need practice to properly use two fingers. Make sure you don't put them too close together (trackpad firmware will detect as a single finger instead of two). Don't expect too much out of PS2 trackpads...

Well, It works well in windows 10(Windows detects it as a precision touchpad) and Ubuntu...

Completely different software drivers... and probably using I2C anyway, not PS2.

Yeah, Windows shows it as I2C HID Device. There's nothing to to be done then? It is almost unusable this way...

Hi,

I already tried this option for you.
This laptop trackpad support both PS/2 and I2C.
For why it comes like this, I don't have clear answer. Just guess PS/2 is for button and cursor, and I2C for gestures.

I tried install VoodooI2C and VoodooI2CHID into /L/E and reboot, and check IORExplorer.
VoodooI2C can load up I2C controller, but can't drive I2C device.
And it shows information like below picture.

I guess VoodooI2C can't drive this model device yet. Or need to do additional works.
Also according from this and Device Manager in Windows 10, this I2C device may customized by DELL.
So I think it's very difficult to make it work on OS X.

Just my 2 cents.

Wow, Thanks for the complete answer, missile0407. I tryed to use solutions from similar notebooks guides like the xps 9360 but it didn't workout too.

Please using DVMT patch or IntelGraphicsDVMTFixup.kext if the BIOS can't change DVMT size.
