I tried the new Clover Builds, the Clover Emulated NVRAM Uninstaller and then the Clover v2.4k_r4411-UEFI, and they went well. Everything is rock solid.

Great! I'll pass this on to MacMan.

Hi all,
I just updated to Sierra 10.12.6 (16G29) in order to replace my GTX 970 with a 1080 Ti (driver 378.05.05.25f01). I do get the occasional black screen on boot when the GPU tries to switch the resolution/load the driver, couple of restarts, unplug replug display usually helps. I didn't changed anything apart from the Nvidia web drivers. I know there is some suggestions/solutions but I am a bit cautious as I need this computer on a daily base. My System definition is iMac 14.2 and most of the suggestions where for other System Definitions, not sure if that matters much. Any suggestions help are highly appreciated.

I will not be updating this installation to High Sierra until 10.13.3 is released...
Hi Stork, as High Sierra 10.13.3 is already there, are you going to update this hardware setup ?

HS 10.13.3 is still buggy, unlike previous macOS .3 updates. I'm waiting until the .4 update is released (rumor has it) sometime this month. Then I'll see. The Mac Pro users using the .4 Beta releases are reporting much better results including support for the current line of AMD RX 5xx series graphics cards. So, stay tuned.

Updated the OP will the above information.

Hey @Stork 10.13.4 is now out. I've used your guide to install Sierra on the Gene/950Pro nvme previously and it's worked great for years. Looking forward to your thoughts on whether it's now safe to update to High Sierra.

I'll update later today. Stay tune.

UPDATE: There's more to updating to 10.13.4 than was expected. So, wait for the dust to settle. I'll probably update Gene late next week (since I'm traveling).
