I'm trying to do a direct upgrade from a mostly working El Capitan install to High Sierra and have arrived at a KP. I am aware from a previous discussion on this forum that my wifi card (DW 1820A) does not work and that if I want WiFi then I need to replace it. I have been roughly using syscl's Dell XPS 13 9350 github repo as it has a similar setup to my laptop: https://github.com/syscl/XPS9350-macOS/

I'm not looking to get my WiFi working just yet but is there a way to fix/remove the need for/disable this problematic BrcmNIC? Or is my problem something else - the "32 kHz LPO Clock not running..." panic cause is quite worrying.

Thanks for the help - Clover zip and screenshot of stack trace attached. Sorry for the blurriness - the stack trace moves off the screen quite fast!

Disable your wifi and bluetooth hardward in the bios
Then you'll need another solution for internet/BT but you will be able to install MacOS
It worked for me

AirportBrcmFixup.kext (Lilu plug-in )
Introduced a patch for the KP
In version 1.1.4

https://github.com/acidanthera/AirportBrcmFixup/pull/3

though on my xps13 9350 I still have to disable the DW1820 wifi in bios to allow it to boot to OS even with latest version of AirportBrcmFixup.

I will tinker around a little more with dw1820A , see if I can get it to work on this laptop.
I can get 1820 wifi to work on desktop, but B/T is still temperamental.

I am waiting for 1560 card to arrive though ,
to avoid all the hassle with 1820-
