Description of Wifi/Bluetooth problem:

my Apple card 943602CS work for the first time install (both Macos 10.12.6 and Windows 10) but after a while the Wifi failed (icon appear but can not turn on on Mac and can not find available wifi on Win)
Hardware failure (i.e., broken antenna connector)

I have the BCM94360HMB/AzureWave AW-CB160H - native WiFi/ac and BT4LE do I need to follow the guide anyway?
everything is working for however my WIFI speed is slow on 10.13.3 right now

*EDIT*
well I use the guide :) now in system information I am getting the correct name:

Card Type: AirPort Extreme (0x14E4, 0x8659)
Firmware Version: Broadcom BCM43xx 1.0 (7.77.37.5.1a3)

BTW, any importance to interface number like en0 en1 etc.? my WIFI is en1

For me the issue seems to lie in the BIOS logic for controlling the WiFi & BT enable lines on the M.2 card (pins 54 & 56) and can be resolved by taping/masking these pins.
Hello, great to see someone metion wifi problem related BIOS logic.
I have some DW1820A wi-fi card, and it has same problem on some laptop.
Do you have experience with DW1820A.

Wifi BSD name of en1 is fine .... if you have on board ethernet its likely that will be en0, the only real important thing to note with network adaptors is that they start at en0 and have no gaps in their BSD name numbering ...

See section 2.3 of the iMessage guide for more information

Hi livacore,

No specific experience with DW1820A .... but the M.2 specification is the same for all M.2 Wifi cards as such Pins 54 and 56 are most likely the cause of the issue if its a logic level issue so the information i posted for DW1830 will most likely apply to your DW1820A (see post #138 or my sig for the links)

Also a bit more info on this link here :-

Hi, I would like to implement method 2 with the SSDT.
My card is : AzureWave AW-CE123H
When I do the first step to discover which RP0x I need to look for, in the Ioreg I have 3 that show up. I've discovered one is my internal network card but I can't discover which is the Wifi card (As my motherboard has 2 internal Network card one atheros one Intel).

As in the Github there's no file with RP01 I suppose it's the RP05 (as RP04 is my atheros network card). But as I'm not sure I prefer asking before breaking everything. I've included my ioreg

I'm on 10.13.3

Hum i've tried RP05 but it doesn't seem to work.
  1. Description of WiFi/Bluetooth problem
Wifi doesn't show up
  1. OS X version/motherboard model/BIOS version/processor/graphics
10.13.3
GA-H87n-WIFI
F8
i7-4770
GTX750
AzureWave AW-CE123H

I've included the files.

Just to be sure, I've followed :

  • 10.13/Handoff not working with AirPort.BrcmNIC-MFG.kext
  • BCM94352 supported/AirPortBrcmNIC-MFG.kext -> I'm not sure I understood this one do I have to install the .kext ?
  • Verify IOReg/RP0x (wifi device name)
  • Select ssdt_arpt-rp0x-bcm4352
  • Download: select View Raw
  • Install to EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched/
  • Download config-bcm94352-1x0.plist.zip (above)
  • Paste patch to config.plist/KernelAndKextPatches/KextsToPatch
    • 10.13-BCM94352-fvco-darkvoid-Sherlocks

Thanks for the Help.
