I have experienced in two of my builds, which are ASRock motherboards, that using anything other than the latest OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi causes intermittent crashing and poor graphics performance.

I thought I would post this for anyone experiencing any unexplainable issues (I struggled with this problem for several months!) with crashing or graphics lag.

I have the following boards:
So again, if you experience crashing or graphics lag and have an ASRock board, try using OsxAptioFixDrv-64 and NOT OsxAptioFix2Drv or OsxAptioFix3Drv!!

Update: Many thanks to @RehabMan and @Xc233haha for helping me sort through the different drivers.

See: https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/t...anations/?page=4&tab=comments#comment-2570653 for a thorough explanation!

Keep in mind OsxAptioFix3Drv-64.efi is an old version of AptioMemoryFix.efi.
So.., usually AptioMemoryFix.efi is preferred.

Ok, so new versions are appended to the front of the "stack," then? 2 is newer than 3 and so on?

Should I try using AptioMemoryFix instead of OsxAptioFixDrv-64?

@RehabMan hi i use your clover r4398 of aptiomeroy.efi....it needs to be updated manaually?

Latest AptioMemoryFix.efi can be built from source.
When I update my Clover builds, AptioMemoryFix.efi is a snapshot at that time.

have you solved this problem? i also have an asrock mobo and after enabling my igpu im having relocation errors, i have to reboot my pc a couple of times until it boots successfully. even after disabling my igpu im still having this problem even on the usb installer which i never had a problem before.

I guess this is not relevant anymore for you personally seeing the time of your post, but I encourage anyone to try the OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi for ASRock motherboards. I've read from a lot of people that it worked on their boards and it finally fixed all of my issues as well after trying all the other ones (including the most recent AptioMemoryFix).
