I'm upgrading from Sierra to High Sierra.

After download and installation from app store, I reboot the system.

Inside Clover bootup screen I select "Boot macOS Install from Sierra" (should that say High Sierra???). Its gets stuck in bootup with "Service existed with abnormal code: 1". See the attached pics.

Any idea what this might be?

I've tried several things without any success.

In your BIOS, you have omitted to DISABLE Serial Port, as shown in your Verbose Boot Error Message. [See edited image]
Go back to BIOS and DISABLE Serial Port and boot again in Verbose to see if anything else is blocking your boot.

Hi, thanks for your response. This helped remove that error message. But it seems I'm still stuck here. - see screen shot in attachments.

There's some messages like:

"IOUSBHostHIDDevice::handleStart: unable to open interface"
"IOUSBHostHIDDevice:: start: unable to start IOHIDDevice"

I assume its not booting because of these error messages. And I assume these are related to the USB.

I've had issues booting in the past where I had to select Clover options to set USB Ownership/Injection - I don't remember which one. So in this case I tried both of these separately, and still unable to get past this error. I did also verify that my BIOS settings was "Set XHCI Handoff to Enabled".

Maybe I should mess with one of the BIOS settings for USB Configuration? (I attached my USB BIOS settings)

Any idea what to try next?
