Stork's MyHero II Build: ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z370 HERO X - i7-8700K - AMD RX 580 - Thunderbolt 3

Hey Stork,

I'll look into multibooting. Though, I did try disabling the windows booter and SSD that windows 10 lies on. It flashes like before but ends up going to BIOS.
I'm out of ideas to help you. If the Multi-booting sticky threads don't help your solve your problem, I recommend you start a thread in High Sierra Desktop Support forum section describing your problem. Lot's of good problem solvers in that forum section.

Thanks, I'll check that out. I did notice something strange though. My current Macbook is running High Sierra, and has Bootcamp enabled with Windows 10 on the partition. I created the Unibeast USB on this Macbook, I noticed today that when I try to access my Windows 10 on Bootcamp, that Clover boots up instead. Could that be the root of the issue? I am unsure why Clover booted up on that partition when I installed Unibeast on my USB.

Wow! I've never heard of that problem before. Can you boot directly into HS on your MacBook? If so, then I'd post the above in the UniBeast forum section to see what MacMan has to say about your MacBook/Clover/Windows problem.

Hi @Stork , I'm interested in a couple of bench if you have time. I saw Pastrychef thread, but I'm interesting in your build with AMD, because I use to work with Final Cut X. Luxmark basic and Cinebench it's enough for me. Thank you!

I've refrain from running and publishing benchmarks given that High Sierra is still so buggy. However, I'll run the requested benchmarks and publish them mid next week as I'm unable to do it sooner.

@Stork Is there a thunderbolt option for this build or similar build?
nvm saw you aswered before, which is a no
Thanks!

I can confirm there is no Thunderbolt support on the X HERO motherboard. As for similar motherboards, you'll have to check on ASUS, Gigabyte and other motherboard manufacturers' web sites.

@Stork thank you very much for your build and the time you spend answering questions.
My old hackintosh just died today and I have to replace it. Do you think if I install the i5 8400 instead of the i7 can I follow your guide as is?
My parts are:

-X Hero
-i5 8400
-Ballistix Sport LT 16GB DDR4 2400 MT/s (PC4-19200) DR x8 DIMM 288-Pin - BLS16G4D240FSB
-GeForce 610 GT 2GB

Give it a try. Most of the procedures deal with the motherboard's audio/Ethernet chipsets and graphics cards.
