Thanks again after 5 month victory of install 10.13 on my 7980XE + Gigabyte AORUS GAMING 7 + 1080Ti. I reinstalled the iMac Pro version and it works perfect now.(Fully acceleration of the Graphic Card, 100 Utilization of the CPU)

What OC have you performed there ? (and what cooling system do you use). Those numbers are higher than what you get with stock config

Come on.. let's do it stepwise...

Does voltageshift report now the correct RDMSR value?

I still need your answers to ALL my previous questions...

Like this it does not work.. you are just spamming the thread with useless information, my friend...

Try to collaborate and provide what you are asked for ;)

I did answer the voltageshift question btw… ;)

Fyi I also have similar issue with the voltage reading.

KGP what can you expect if our bios wasn't unlocked properly? I have been using the system for a week now mostly using xcode and haven't had any issues so I just assumed my bios unlock is correct even though I didn't get the same reading as you.

Ok i just tried again i am getting the same value as the original post:
./voltageshift read 0xe2

RDMSR e2 returns value 0x7e000003

not sure why it didn't show up correctly before

I'm so confused... lol

You asked:
What is the output of voltageshift?

To which I replied:
$ ./voltageshift read 0xe2
RDMSR e2 returns value 0x402

You then asked if voltageshift reported the correct RDMSR value... Is what I posted not the answer to that question? If is not, I'm not sure how to answer it then... Sorry :(

Did your ever read what I wrote to you and suggested in post #5848?

Thanks @kgp for this very detailed guide.

I have read through many many pages, but am I the only one who can't make a "iMacPro,1,1" special installation?

I tried 2 different computers, I tried also the script too, but all comes about to the same version number when its complete in the /application folder (please see attached).

Or is this actually the right version?

Thanks in advance :)

Don’t ask me about the installer version number. I don’t remember and I am too lazy to check now.. What is your build number after installation?
