Hi, I'm having issues with bluetooth on my hack. I have installed BrcmPatchRam2, and BcrmFirmwareRepo, but I still cannot connect to my iPhone using bluetooth. Bluetooth will recognize my iPhone and form a connection, but as soon as data is sent over the connection it drops. For example, I could attempt to tether with my iPhone, and I would be able to connect but the connection would drop when I tried to load a webpage. Problem reporting files attached.

The iPhone uses BT4LE. Pairing not intended/not expected.

Could you elaborate on this? This bluetooth chip supports bluetooth 4 right? On a real Mac, what is the reason that it would pair with an iPhone while this chip does not?

On a real Mac, you will likely discover that the iPhone connects, then disconnects just like the hack.

Interesting, so is handoff something that can be enabled without bluetooth connections between iPhone and osx working?

Correct, sort of... the connection is there but via BT4LE instead of active pairing.

Please note that handoff is not reliable, especially on non-Apple BT hardware.
