nvidia-update - Simple way to install nVidia web drivers

Elfcake, has everything remained ok since you ran the script and installed different drivers? For me, things were ok for awhile, but within a day or less they were back to where they were before, very sluggish and unusable.

So far, all is ok. I updated SHIKI and LILU and installed NvidiaGraphicsFixup (the last was not previously installed in kexts folder in Clover>kexts>other. Have not updated shiki and lilu in S/L/E or L/E yet. The NVMe drive is running about 1gb slower than normal which runs at just over 3gbs. Don't know what to make of that.

Hmm I haven't heard of SHIKI, never used it, just LILU and NvidiaGraphicsFixup, nothing worked for me, so I switched to an AMD GPU which works great now.

Are you using SHIKI because you are using an internal GPU as well as your Nvidia card?

Just the card. Shiki has been in my system since at least 10.12.5 so it remains.

What version of the web drivers are you running now?

.106, that is what the Terminal script chose. It looks like your system did not like .106. Did you get the AMD GPU?

I'm on Sierra and have been having issues since the most recent security update.

Tried this hoping it would help, however I get this response in terminal after it downloads the appropriate driver (the same ones I currently have installed):

Uninstalling previous drivers...
sudo: unable to stat /etc/sudoers: Permission denied
sudo: no valid sudoers sources found, quitting
sudo: unable to initialize policy plugin
