Hi,
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z270M-D3H
After trying all of the clover command line options I've read here in the forum regarding a means to get passed the "Still Waiting For Root Device" (with no success) I think I have concluded that in my case the issue is the USB interface.
The USB thumb drive I am using operates @ USB3.0
The Mobo has 6 USBs pre-wired and available but NONE of them are USB2.0; it does offer 2 USB2s if I choose to build a connector and wire it to the pins on the Mobo.
So, my questions are:
A. are there 'connector/adapters' that will fit the 10-pin USB2.0 header on the Mobo and bring out the USB 2.0?
or
B. If I found a 16-gig USB2.0 thumb drive would that fix this issue?
And while I have your attention why does the Unibeast fail to find an 8gig formatted thumb drive but does find a 16gig?
thanks,
tony
